Well it's good to see that it may survive a bit. I've actually bought this model at the start of Indiegogo and hope it will serve me for a long time like the Cat S61 that I'm using now. At least I'm sure that it's worth this money more, than that poor new model S62 "Pro" from Cat. Thanks for that review.

No phones designed to maliciously whacked this many times hard, it's designed to save your phone from accidentally dropped. This way you just tested if it can be broken or not. Real testing, like true battery life, the fingerprint and face recognition accuracy, putting different SIM cards in it, to see how they operate together, etc etc etc. Disappointed on the tester, not the phone. My opinion tho.
bad quality, i bought 1 just use for few months, accidentally fell from bed and it cant turn on, no place able to repair. very costly to send back China. become a trash item now.
I have a bv 9800 pro and the camera is amazing on it. I have put this phone through a lot even survived a wreak is 70 mph and got bounced around the cab the phone bent slightly but the screen was fine and still functions great. This phone also has the thermal camera. I have been thinking about getting the one he just made a video on.
I've really enjoyed this phone, but after a short drop onto some rough concrete... I'm not either in need of a screen or to purchase a new phone. What would you do?

Let me tell you it was NOT easy! I’ve never dropped a phone in my life! The only reason I pushed this phone to the Max was because it was sent to me and they told me how durable it was so I had to put it to the test haha
@@initialfocus I can certainly see it. It's tricky to pace yourself so that you gradually increase the strenght but not get frustrated and just bang it down screen first onto a pile of rocks, then say ah, it ain't that durable, bullshit claims.

Hi, I had the same problem. I was really looking forward to this phone and was disappointed. I go hiking and needed a durable phone. I thought it would last me years. I had it for 3 months. The manufacturer ignored me. Before that, I had an ordinary smartphone that was much more durable.
I buy a Blackview bv5000 whan it was new. First time its droped on the ground while I was on camping screen broken. Thay send me new one and after 1 week, while i was walking he fell down from my hands and broke again.... So it wasn't rugged but it had a great battery :) I would love to try this one too...

The company failed to stand by the warranty and refused to replace. So I was left with a $$$ paperweight. Upon teardown, I noticed that one of the "cameras" was not even connected to the main board, among other shady 'cost cutting?' measures (second SIM slot never worked, software bugs, had 2 builds lower Android than advertised, etc)? Unfortunately between the false advertising, poor communication, and lack of standing by the warranty I'll not use this company again.
Can you back up any of these claims with photos etc? This all sounds made up. Camera not connected? How did you tear it down? "Software bugs" is so vague, and why are you saying "Android two builds lower" instead of Android 8/9? (Or was this years and years ago and a different company you just thought was Blackview?) It's illegal for companies to refuse to honour warranties. I think you had some problems with an old phone and are massively exaggerating and trying to pin it on Blackview. (Again, "camera not connected to the main board" come on... you know we all watch cellphone teardown vids right?)

True. These phones almost always fall on the corners. I dropped mine like 40 times.

As far as rugged phones go this is skinny, Check out the Oukitel WP19 with 21,000mAh battery, It weights a little over 1lb and is crazy thick
what about a shake test, and battery life, for someone that has the phone up while riding a strong 1800cc bike from NY to CA

mcpro24fps is the app name. It’s only available on Android.
