- An update on Watson after having a mast cell tumour removed from his neck. This is the 2nd time he's had this exact type of tumour - the last time was nearly 3 years ago.

A tip from me from my own wellness experience, as well as my 16 year old fur-kid… treat his adrenal system in addition to all other treatments. I’m happy to elaborate with “how to’s.”
As a hopeful anecdote, I had a 13 year old cat with a similar Cracker Jack issue. They wanted to take her whole ear off. I elected to do nothing. It disappeared in a few weeks. She lived at least another 5 years… I lost custody of her in that divorce.

Hi Karen, I do so feel for you knowing your Watson is unwell, we lost our much loved dog last year and we still miss him so much. Your dedication to him is so heart warming to see, it is hard to believe his age it only seems like yesterday when you were introducing him to us, time flies. I will keep him and you and hubby in my prayers. Please take care and stay safe.

Bless his heart! Dog’s door heal and bounce back quickly. Periton? for his allergies? Never heard of that. I’ve had Seymour in apoquel and it didn’t help. Little man scratches all the time. Can’t find what’s causing it without allergy testing and I don’t want to put him through that.

Piriton is "Chlorphenamine" and only works for a few hours. Apoquel alone doesn't work for Watson but it works in combination with either Piriton (can buy in Boots) or Cytopoint injection every few months. The allergy testing isn't bad at all - they get sedated and a few little scratches on their tummy! ITs really useful to know what causes it! x
I love you and your husband's dedication to Watson, even I had a lump in my throat when I first heard, but hope in my heart and every finger I can cross.
