Thank you for blessing us with your story but one important question the interviewer didn’t ask is “how did your inlaw receive the surrogacy news?” Please share; it will go a long way in enlightening our parents and in-laws too because they play a major role too in this decision. Thank you.
Sorry we skipped that part, it was actually my sister in law that suggested it first, she even sort for the number of a particular surrogate agent but couldn’t use them because they were too expensive until my friend introduced me to the doctor that did this.
After the 1st failed attempt, I didn’t tell my sister in law anything until the last one and we’re already at 32 weeks before mentioned it to her.
I’m just blessed with amazing in laws, through out my waiting period, none of them asked me a single question(not even his dad) they only prayed along with us.
We broke the news to them the day our baby came and till today, all they do is check up on their son, pray for us and support us. There was never any serious questioning from any of the family members both mine and his, there were no pressure at all.
Honestly I couldn’t have asked for a better in laws.

To the interviewer, please please and please stop saying "permit me to..." you are in charge, you don't ask anyone, nobody, for permission. YOU ARE IN CHARGE!. It's like you're a driver, there are people in the bus, you're asking your passengers to permit you to apply the brakes, or change speed or indicate when you're to change lanes, you don't, you just do what is necessary.
You are a very organized person. I don’t blame you for not sharing with people.I did IVF five times. The fourth one worked, but I lost the pregnancy very early. The fifth one yielded my beautiful and blessed son. Thank God for the wisdom He has given doctors and researchers.

This is very impactful Aunty Biola!!!Thank you for sharing this beautiful story with us,especially we the TTC Mother..I have had to do IUI twice,and it failed,it’s a lot for me and my husband,it’s 4yrs in our marriage and we are still trying…We looking up to God for the fruit of the womb are going through a lot,but people don’t understand…You cant be too happy,you can’t dress nice,you can’t post people’s babies in peace…They always look at you as not being serious with having a child…Someone even asked me Don’t I want to give birth??? I laughed and replied how can you even ask me that…People aren’t sensitive about this issues…I pray God Answers us all looking for the fruit of the womb!!We shall be celebrated soon

I thought of it back in the bible, Mary the mother of Jesus was kind of a surrogate mum, she helped God carry baby Jesus in her womb (a deep thought) and I've heard pastor Mildred Okonkwo too talked about it. So you haven't committed any sin. There are somethings that are morally alright...and I think this is part of it. God bless your son and family
You got is ma’am. Mary was Jesus surrogate mom. If we can trust God enough through science for healings, why not for babies? The womb of the surrogate mom was only borrowed for 9/10 months and nothing more. I pray people get the understanding.

Do your research legally the surrogate mother and the parents are never allowed to have contact once the deal has been done. So where is she even going to find the child. In honest ask any DR the baby belongs to the egg donors not the carrier if you go for a DNA the blood in the baby is that of its parents not the surrogate mother. it is well jare may God help everybody.

I respect you why, the fact that you didn't lie about it. When your hubby was even feeling uncomfortable have you forgotten that people did not see you pregnant, so where would you say you got the baby from. Very educative session. In western countries , a child is allowed to even know and have relationships with there surrogates mother. So not a big deal anymore. If I have my way I will go for surrogacy.
