Interest rates going down will increase home prices… that is likely to be a consequence of fear of missing mixed with optimism and shortage of homes.

Fantastic video Nav Paaji, Thanks for the same. I downloaded your tools too, my feedback- 1) The Rental analyzer needs more information about the parameters you used to calculate monthly mortgage payments, your numbers are not matching with BMO calculator. 2) The affordability calculator/Rule of 35 needs an update too, please add fixed and variable components of the salary (Bonus/Incentives). It's better to ask users to have an annual salary and annual bonus and let Excel calculate.

when a major chunk of politicians are investors themselves, there exists a conflict of interest. The vested interests of these politicians coupled with realtors, mortgage agents, builders n developers, investors and even media will do their best to keep stimulating the housing market. Government increased immigration to increase the demand for real estate while did nothing much to create supply except making statements and announcements. There is no productive investment towards creating businesses in the last many years. Relying on immigration n foreign money no matter through any sources remains the main strategy of the government.
Hard to find people like you that see immigration in Canada for what it truly is
I think you fall somewhere among these categories. If not, Persons like you are given a narrative by government. That’s why people without knowledge are carried away. How many people understand economics n immigration n objectives in disguise.
Don’t feel it personal. You are not alone.
