For a solid 2 years (late 2019 - late 2022), Deep Blue is essentially the ONLY brand I purchased. I got ridiculously obsessed with the brand (thanks to my friend J.B. on Facebook that let me do payment's).
Deep Blue has a great history and demonstrated a lot of originality through the years with their models. I've owned over 150 different DB watches.... And that's a modest estimate. However, the brand isn't what it used to be. They're still well made.... They just lack the initiative and originality that they had prior to 2020. Couple that with numerous Quality Control and Customer Service issues as well, and their previous reputation has gotten slightly tarnished.
The owner Stan is a good guy, and I've had the privilege of speaking with him directly numerous times. I do believe they'll rebound from their slump one day, but it's going to take a lot of work to do so.
I know who JB is. Well I hope it gets better. I've heard the same lately

I have several Deep Blue Precision Divers. I payed $ 149.00 from their direct website. It's a professional diver's watch. The finish and quality are all there. Very satisfied with their product. I haven't found anything else in that price range giving you so much for your money. Very long lasting Seiko NH35 movement. There are a lot of watches out there with this same movement selling for 3 times as much. Check them out. I know you will be satisfied. Good Luck.
It seems nobody I see in public even wears a watch, if they do it's a Apple smart watch. I have 50 plus watches. A couple Swiss ones but that's to save for my nephew's. And some family ones that have been passed down, a 1945 Hamilton mechanical on the OG lizard band. Recently I saw the probably the best watch I'll ever see in public, I'm a waiter, at a restaurant wear my guest was wearing a Rolex, presidential platinum in ice blue. Absolutely amazing. Great review hopefully I'll enjoy mine, as after watching your video I'm getting one. But in yellow! Thanks again

So, I'm considering one, I have a smaller wrist, I want one, but I'm happy with my Tissot automatic le loche, yes a dress watch, but want a yellow, or orange dial, sub-ish looking watch. So I don't beat up my real Rolex, I'm not a watch snob. I have a Glycine with a Swiss automatic. It's ok, for $325. Considering this, will I be happy with one? Just asking? They seem to a decent value. Besides an AliExpress watch.
Deep Blue also offers 40mm. Maybe go with the 40 as 44 might be too large
