Hi Steve I'm a late builder on R2, in fact im still building R2D2. this video is the most explainable video for wiring up, but I'd like to know how would the Teeces set up, can they be connected to this Padawan 360 or is it a seperate connection. I know nothing about electronics, this video as explained alot and also did your pre install the sounds on the sd card first. great video thanks
I use a pair of SLA 12v batteries which are 17ah each, if I'm just at a smallish event, I'll just use a single battery. My droid is wood/metal build so fairly heavy compared to a 3d printed droid for instance.
again a very helpful and clearly displaying making video - thank you a lot for that!!

Great video! What is gain in using a 24v setup?
And why is you're serial.begin for sound disabled?
Where can I find dans programs ?
What battery did you go with and what was it's weight?

Is it better to run the arduino and mp3 off barrel plugs or the 5 volt from the saber tooth and syren or doesn’t it matter
I originally ran 12v, but I now recommend 5v from saber/syren. It means you can run your speed controllers at 24v with no changes.
Thank you very much for your video!
What’s the gage of the power cables
I used 12AWG in this video
