Did you use cement backer boards over wood to build the station?

the product appears to be Schluter Kerdi Board. Much easier to use than cement bd and much lighter. also, much more expensive.

How does the dog get in?

Just guessing, but attaching 5 DJI mini drones to a dog under 10 lbs would probably provide enough lift to get it in there.
