Someone just told me they changed the ball size, but it looks the same to me. He also told me that the ball isn't celluloid anymore, that it's been changed to plastic. They changed the ball again to 40mm+ and plastic material. Speed glue is banned, they use booster oil voc free now.

You would have to also be a master of ball placement and reading your opponent. The ball specification change reduced the spin and the speed of the ball and so it's harder for a defensive player to control. It's like trying to be a goalie in hockey but you can only use your stick.
