I would strongly encourage and basically even ask for very VERY detailed step by step guide on S. Security after the new changes with DB authen/autho, data JPA and how MVC and Web config works. It's really getting crazy with all the changes and everything seems to be clashing with each other. I admit I'm just a freshman out of CS, but framework have much potential but is very badly explained in my personal view.
"Hapiness" and "Vaadin" are two words you never hear used in same sentense. :) I know the new JS version of Vaadin is not as bad as the old EEJava JSF sibling version crap. But large portion of my professional career has been refctoring the Vaadin away from the customer solutions (by customer's request).
@Melvery Shop actually, most of them prefer flutter or kotlin. Even google pronounced kotlin to be a major language of android. I mean there are still android jobs and android apps to be maintained that are written in java thats for sure.
If you get pay then I don't understand why you want to get unemployed. Also what exactly is wrong with Vaadin? I ask seriously since it is a viable option for a place where people have strong Java knowledge but not much javascript/css knowledge.
Some of components are not free right, but you can still implement those things yourself since they are built on top of the free components. Also right now they do have regular LTS-releases just like JDK itself.
With RapidClipse Eclipse Distribution you can generate Vaadin UI Java Code by drag and drop the components.
i am using Vaadin since 10 years and happy to see how it develops and getting modernized every year.
This feels good every thing at one place like java java
I heard vaadin 10 years back it's really cool
Thanks. I used this some long, long time ago. It seems it may be way to start a new UI design with spring boot distributed app.
He's happy because he accepted and embraced pain
Starting to learn Vaadin...Does Vaadin have components that make a web app look fancy and modern? Can it use css files?

This was so funny and knowledge intensive

I would say that "Happiness" and "UI in java" don't appear in the same sentence for a decade :)
@@davidgreetman3704 say it to android developers

Saludos desde Colombia, pueden por favor Spring WebFlux ?
Thanks, It was excellent
Amazing
I used vaadin few years back, they didn't update regularly, some features in their ui kit aren't free. These won't help them to grow.

Are we still pretending Vaadin isn't dead?
Also can we get an official GRPC spring boot starter?
LOL
who still uses this?
please stop giving junior technical managers more alternatives
