Rant incoming I haven’t read the fic but this actually sounds like what would happen. I fell in love with this as soon as this started playing. The voices actually made me think it was fr Rui and Tsukasa until I heard the pauses that are a bit awkward for a person that is speaking lol, but generally it’s very much what I would expect from both Tsukasa and Rui. Though, I feel like Rui being pushy would be something I expect less. After all, he said it himself (from “This Festival Tinged with Twilight” iirc): “Sometimes I don’t even know how I feel. Therefore, it’s better to not guess how others feel as well.” or something along the words of these. For this to happen, pretty sure Rui observed Tsukasa quite a long while and had to piece the info himself. I love the charactererization of Tsukasa as a martyr (?). Tsukasa has forgotten core parts of himself at the start of the story, which makes me think as if he has gone through lots of trauma and this feels like a good explanation to why he turned out the way he is. Also wow we have cynical Tsukasa at the end, and rip to Tsukasa’s light in his eyes. The later parts of “abandonment after things don’t work in your favour” is interesting too because Rui has abandonment issues too but for different reasons. Also “you’ll leave someday, too” is definitely going to hit Rui hard simply because he doesn’t want WxS to disband. In other words Tsukasa might just triggered both of them lmao. I love this too much, this is of good quality fr 🌟
