I love the under over method, that I learned working in a sound and lighting crew. I wish I could show you a little twist to that method. As you showed, the most important thing to do is get that cord out of its original packaging and stretch it out in the sun. Once your cord gets it’s muscle memory, it’ll wind up easier each time!
I just watched and haven't tested it yet but watching it, when you do the UNDER it appears to my eyes to not be lined up with the top of the roll... Don't know how to articulate my observation ; and it obviously works but it is hard to grasp for me, how it does. I came looking for an answer regarding the power cord for my laptop which has a horrible knotted up memory and causes me problems every time I am using it.
