When trying to upload image I am getting "There was an error uploading the image file. Please verify that the image uploaded is an RGB image." Have you had this before?
Trying to submit the cover/front photo, discogs explicitly asked me about copyright and ownership. It sounded like a warning so I opted for submitting the release without a cover. Is it a problem if I upload the photo? Should the photos be taken by me? Thanks
You wouldn't add "singer" as an ANV. ANVs are used when the artist's name is spelled slightly different on the release to what their main name is on Discogs.
@@TheSourcersApprentice thank you very much, in the end all that mentioned helped to verify that I am legitimate, now I can upload my material, this is where another question arises, if at the moment my music is not physically available, only on digital platforms in what format do I have to select the collection ?
Thanks! I’ve Done this to a few records and it worked out very well. But How do you add another version to an already existing record so it gets in line with all the others? I tried to do this but it just ended up on a page all by itself though there are so many other versions. How do I do that?
It appears they are very similar. While Allmusic has been around longer, their database only consists of three million releases. Discogs has 15.6 million so I believe they are more comprehensive. Also, I don't believe Allmusic has a marketplace in addition to the database like Discogs does.
I compare with other releases from the same artist. Or if there are none, the same era and genre. Or if all else fails, I make a price up. All of my listings allow potential buyers to make offers. So if my price is too high for the market, they can tell me what they want to pay.
How do you Submit Vinyl boxsets as having trouble submitting multiple albums under the one banner?
Very helpful now later I can finally add some of my titles no one else has added on there and finally get them added to my collection.

Click on them and make sure they go to the right link.

How can you setup for MP3s?

Thanks for the clarification.
I tried to add some of my authorship, however I appeared this: Your account is too new to contribute to the database, how can I solve it?
Give your account some time. Some interaction would help: buy something, comment in the forum. That will show them you are legit.

@@CristhellCM If it's only in digital form, you can't list it. It needs to have a physical format.

Hello (: thanks for the info, i have a question, is discogs the sams as allmusic? Have the same goal?

How do you work out what the album may be worth? I assumed Discogs would do it automatically. Maybe we need to find it somewhere and add it manually?
