MT Pop started at a very young age and he's still young. As of 2019, there is no one on his level from his creativity and smoothness of transitions. He makes it look effortless and even when he's hyped, he never compromises his fluidity. This guy is one of the most humble and respectful competitors. Excited to see what else he'll be adding to his massive arsenal in the following years.
At almost 53 years of age, I've been into Popping since I was 14(1980). Believe me when I tell you that MT POP is the BEST Popper in the world that's on the scene right now. There are likely better Poppers that exist, but they are NOT attending these competitions. This same dynamic exists with the "Fastest(Strongest, Fattest, Tallest, etc.) Man in the World" claims. Also, you'll NEVER beat MT POP if you don't SMILE and if you have no FACIAL EXPRESSIONS. Keep it CRISP, fellow Poppers!!!
@@danpiedra9008 Salah is a GREAT dancer and is probably a better ALL-AROUND dancer than MT Pop(though to be fair, we'd have to give MT Pop a chance to demonstrate his "other" dancing skills), but if we're JUST talking "popping", then MT Pop is better in MY opinion. You'll also notice that Salah smiles a lot TOO and he also uses diverse facial expressions to his advantage. And you're correct about the statement "world's best" being relative.
@@danpiedra9008 It shouldn't be tricky though. If one really LOVES dancing, then smiling should be somewhat natural. It's just that some people are more focused on the "battle" aspect of this and as such, are wearing their "battle faces" instead of showing their love of dancing. Smiling makes whatever you're doing appear EFFORTLESS and SECOND-NATURE. If you have a competition where two contestants are tied, then the contestant that makes it LOOK easy will win. As much as MT Pop is aware that he's in a competition or "battle", he's MORE focused on the FUN that he's having just by expressing himself through dancing rather than he's focused on "beating" or "defeating" someone in a "battle".
Yes I been in to popping form 80s and watched many forms but what I think what makes Mtpop the best I've seen his his technique originality groove timing and symmetry and execution of moves and understanding of music.. This is a talent not easily learned but you have to have an inate skill from a very early period of your existence
I don't know much about *Popping* from a technical standpoint but what makes MTPOP unique to me is he can actually DANCE. Dude may be classified as a popper but he can dance!!!!!!! And he's got a ton of subtle moves that you can miss if you not paying attention.
