Chest piece is different too between the Coneheads and original trio of Seekers, the turbine ports/pecs on the Coneheads are more rectangular compared to the more square turbine ports on the original trio. Thought I'd point it out it was something I noticed in your review. :)
I think it's telling that after 16 years, this Voyager Seeker sculpt really isn't all that different than what Classics gave us other than just cleaning up some steps and some modern engineering (the double hinge knees, which makes sense as they're less prone to wearing out than pull sliders).
I wish that we also got Tetrajet style Coneheads for Siege, but the Earthrise jet Coneheads are still cool. Dirge and Ramjet are greatly detail and paint job. Looking forward to the third member, Thrust, official reveal for Earthrise.
I preordered these guys and I’m now filled with hype and anticipation!! Dirge is my favorite of the Cone-heads and he looks amazing! Ramjet looks great as well, though I still forget what kind of jet he turns into. Now I’m hoping we soon get a official announcement release of Thrust sometime in the fall, cause I would be a tad miffed if he was to release in next year January. My other hope is that Thrust is a wide sale release instead of a store exclusive, that would be a bit ridiculous imo. Great review and I’m excited for these.

For those who have paint chips on the black pieces, I would recommend using a semi gloss or gloss black and a fine paint brush. if you don't have a paint brush, you can use a tooth pick.

I hope to one day get the Thrust version of this mould. It is pretty cool except for the cone-head itself. The Classics version gave the jet mode a shorter nosecone which looked just fine and resulted in both elimination of jet kibble and avoidance of faux-parts in robot mode - wish they had done that here too. The best new bit is those knee pads.

IMO they corrected a problem they've had for years with the Decepticon Logo on the jets ever since the generations line started. It's bothered me for a long time that to me on the standard seekers that the Decepticon symbol faces the back on the wings. On the new coneheads it faces forward on the wings. It would seem to me that you'd want the logo facing forward so it can clearly be seen from those in front. But the most bothersome part to me has been that the back facing symbol is then upside-down in robot mode on the original seekers. Look at the front of Dirge's and Ramjet's wings in robot mode, the front (underside in jet mode) has the symbol right-side up on them. Just look at Starscream's wings and the symbol there.

They look great and at least they have differant molds unlike thundercracker and skywarp, I dont buy repaints I just get the one mold that is the best character/paint scheme.
Who here is missing Red White and Black Ramjet like seen here?. I got the Sandstorm and the purple one. The Dirge like seen here is available even today. But that Ramjet in the G1 colors is the last I need. I got Thrust, the original 3 and Dirge.
Is this box and the ironhide prowl box going to be available in the uk? The Walmart exclusive Netflix figures have me worried I won’t be able to get these
Its a bad idea to make main characters exclusive but they are doing it to make room in the main line for all the beast wars figures that they are going to put into the line with kingdom since it will be the last of the 3 year planned line.
I think even with the 5mm hole at the exhaust, it would be too loose because the exhaust is at seam of two parts. Similarly, that is the reason why tetra jet seeker's null ray are really loose in some cases.
I have to say, ramjet has a wierd thing from the box like the evasionmode prime from the last knight. In this case is the back on the box is all grey but the figure is white on the back
Nice review! I have to say I really don't like the black tips of the jets' nosecones. Especially Ramjet looks like Snoopy. Btw the torso detailing is different on the Conehead Seekers.
Looks good, but I'm afraid that I'm still gonna have to gripe at least one thing..... I really wish that Ramjet had his old smokey colored cockpit windshield instead of this orange one.

All 3 conehead figures are fantastic!!! Both Robit and Jet modes are just slight retools that make them each unique.
Even though I'm not a coneheads fan, I've got to admit they're a smashing pair of figures. They've done a great job. Great review PVP!

The only thing I would have wanted to be added is for all the seekers is trace their air intakes transformable from the chest to be more jet accurate.
