Just Passing Through Premont, Texas

The Just Passing Through Series is how it sounds...We are filming these small towns as we pass through them on our way to wherever we happen to be going. This particular route from the RGV to San Antonio is quite familiar to us.

*Jaws Clamp Mount (for Go Pro)* - I was looking for something with a gooseneck that would be able to be used clipped to my bike handlebars for a quick grab, something that clips to various locations in the truck, or something that can clip to a cabinet overhead to create a straight above camera angle. This has done the job, and was reasonably priced.

With the recent completion of a bypass around it, Premont joins the list of small towns that one goes to only if there is a reason.

This is potentially sad, but true. I hear that. I, however; was happy to make a stop on the way through the other day. I realized I had forgotten to get gas, and was super relieved to travel through. Generally, speaking though - with many of these small towns; unless I am on a time crunch, I don't mind/kind of like to just pass through :)

Really? I sometimes stop at what I remember to be the only gas station to fill up on drives to and from San Antonio. If that gas station closes I will have to find another one, I guess

@@kro.productions they are moving it near a highway sometime next year or sum idk it sucks they are taking our gas station 😔
