- Apex legends has a lot of skins, but did you know that apex also has a lot of skins that give you a pay to win advantage in game?
Yes ,some ironsighs on game are much better than default skin and some are even worse, ottr goes in Delph covering every single pay to win skin and landing animation.

The sky dive emotes have really gotten nutty considering the valk redeploy percentages over ALGS and the last year
It's weird to have something that is only pay to win for diamond lobbies and up with under diamond I doubt kids will have the aim to sky beam often enough for it to matter but that might just mostly be a controller problem

im still using my reactive skins besides wingman and pk (i prefer the red wingman recolor and just old west skins more)
They didn't change the flatline skin because of "competitive integrity" they changed it because they realized that most players that had that skin wouldn't buy/use other flatline skins ever lol
The more videos like this exist the more I worry theyre going to add circle R99 iron sights to all the models 😅
They only did that to the flatline since its had a really good sight m
I love the circle ironsights for r99 and it never bothered me
that G-7 limited skin with the "transparent ironsights" is bugged so don't bet on it staying like that

Been looking for a comprehensive p2w weapon skin guide for a long time now. Never found a good one before this, so definitely taking notes. Had no idea about these except for the obvious wingman and pk skins. I watch your content often, but this vid earned my sub :)
The lstar skin wasn’t apart of the raiders event. It is actually a prize tracker skin from one of the s12 events 😅

None of these skins actually provide a tangible advantage. Yeah some are cleaner than others. But that doesn’t mean you will lose if you equip that particular skin on your favorite weapon.

Mozam Lion's Roar, pay to lose. There were a couple Hemlock PTW skins too, Sailor's Pride is slightly better than default.
Oh, bad skins. Yeah, I remember getting one, loading up the firing range to take a loot at it and instantly going back to my red common skin. (cause shotgun ammo red)
With the flat line I would put the skin that was in the Necromancer rev bundle I forgot what the skin was called though

The eva 8 with the wings helps me line my shots up better

Yeah, I really don't get all this hype. It's not like you're going to run iron sight guns for more than 1 minute... It's not COD. The funniest part is when some1 so worried about iron sights goes and just leaves 1x holo lying on the ground (which is 100 times better than any iron sight).
@@piktasniekas8124 I only use the holo sometimes because on long range weapons, the iron sights have a bit more zoom that the 1x sights and some guns just feel better with irons.
Since people don't really play for fun anymore they find any possible excuse for when they die...

you completely ignored character skins.. skins like airship assassin wraith (which is completely brown / beige) literally blend in with the environment on KC and WE. there are plenty cases like this.
LED Rez + Galv had a recolour called Ocean Spray.
The other reactive flatline skin wasn’t changed so you could still use that

I got the death ray wingman out of a free pack, and crafted the outlands avalanche r99 so free to win for me lol

About the Wingman skins, I see that you didnt mention Precision Caliber/Attention to Detail Season 5 battle pass skins. I see you using them so i would like to know which one is actually better: The merciless wing ones or the reactive?

They aren't really pay to win seeing as you get an apex pack every 5 levels. And you have a chance at these items for free.
From level 1 to prestige its every 2 levels

you forgot the 100-110 bp wingman skins.
ive never seen someone use dive animations after using a balloon/valk ult/rift portals, ive only see them from squad that jump from the ship and are close to my squad, those that land at far PoIs all seem to dive straight, which leads me to believe, after a certain distance, dive emotes are "disabled" for the 3rd person view, which means your hitbox never moves at all and its just visual, so dive emotes are pointless when it comes to dodging.
Even if it's only visual, that still means that hitbox and player model are at different places and people would tend to follow what they can see.
@@HappyBeezerStudios yes, but then again, youd only see it a certain distance (falling next to eachother) if you are far (on the ground) youd see them falling straight (relative to the hitbox even if on their side they are emoting)

The finisher and sky dive differences are so bad. Why they ever allowed these to be meaningfully different to the observing a player, I don't know.
