I love every member of the Annona genus that I've ever tried...pawpaw, soursop/guanabana, cherimoya, sugar apple/sweetsop, and others. Only thing is, if you eat some fresh really avoid the seeds. Consumption of the seeds is linked to a Parkinson's-like neuro-degenerative disease caused by tau proteins.
We have a lot of alt milks (flax seed, soy, cashew, oat, etc.) in the US but they usually come in large cartons so it is strange to see it come in a single serve a can
I love almond milk and cashew milk. I love regular milk as well but nut milks don't spoil as fast as regular. They have some really yummy mixtures now. Coconut/almond cashew/almond and many others. Highly recommend trying
Wow! I had no idea you could get Sour Sop juice in a can! We used to have a tree in our backyard as well as a custard apple tree. I always thought of the Sour Sop as a poor man's custard apple, quite similar in taste.
LOL... but i can see how that would happen. Have seen the same thing with younger people and a perfectly normal rotary dial. The person tried to move the finger stop... rather than the dial itself. When you look at it, it DOES look like a pointer..... so yeah, interesting how 'what's obvious to one generation' can be 'wtf' to another
I remember all the variations they tried before settling on the modern one, the 2 nubbins you pushed down were the worst, as they scraped up your fingers, A little one as a vent, and a bigger one to drink from
almond milk is very hit or miss. you have to pay attention when you're buying the cartons. it usually comes in sweetened/unsweetened and vanilla/plain varieties. the sweetened vanilla is okay to just drink on it's own if you want a sweet drink. for other uses (in cereal, in cooking) you want unsweetened plain. i make my mac and cheese with almond milk, you'd never know the difference. you can totally put the sweetened almond milk in cereal but it'll make it absurdly sweet. i don't really ever care to just drink milk, i'd rather have good old h2o, so i only ever get the plain stuff.
That must be special almond milk b/c the almond milk I've tried in coffee in the U.S. tastes like shit. The only decent alternative milk for coffee that I've found is soymilk, & Silk is the best. Hot tea is more forgiving. You can use other non-dairy milks (oat, cashew, almond, coconut, flax, & hempseed milk) in tea & it's fine, but I hate almond milk in coffee. It doesn't taste like a shot of almond syrup, unfortunately.
Soursop sounds like another way of calling someone a crybaby lol
If you ever have the opportunity, taste it. It's delicious.
If you ever use protein powder to make drinks, instead of mixing it with water, use Almond Milk. It makes it so much better.
Homemade almond milk is fantastic, but most commercial brands really fail

When my wife first saw the old style ring pull in Asia she didn’t know how to open it.

Really like soursop juice myself. I love getting these kind of interesting drinks from the Asian supermarket nearby:)
Canned almond milk is common here. I hate plant based milk, and I hate almonds, so you can imagine how much I hate almond milk.
Same
I hate plant based anything
Talk about shit takes
Soursop is amaaaaazing

Another delicious drink and juice.
Shades of Simpsons' Ralph Wiggum "it smells/tastes like burning". Lol.
In almond milk they sometimes toast the almonds so maybe the burning smell was the toasted element of the almonds
3:43 Was that allusion to ralph wiggum intentional? :P
that "Foco" brand keeps coming up, they have so many different canned drinks.
Almond milk is all over China
Dear comrade Che
toast..... so it smells like a stroke?
😂😂
Smells awful but tastes good. Yeah, that's your typical asian food/drink tbh
"was given to me by a friend"
man either your friend has a can obsession or you got a LOT of friends 😆

Who knew that almonds have nipples?
trepidacious is that a new atomicshrimp word? if so, patent it
TheChipmunk2008 I think it's actually quite an archaic, but little-used word - I'm just doing my bit to bring it back into circulation
@@AtomicShrimp we need to get a couple boys to write a song about it.
That's how a lot of people learned what an aglet is.
