My ship in gintama is no.1 gintoki x adult kagura in movie i don't ship kagura with sougo i fucking hate him kagura deserve better like gintoki for example no.2 is gintoki x kyubei regardless of the age gap gorilla sensei is the one that make her liking him not weird even in the show no one in the show ever said it's weird for her to like him no.3 is gintoki x the shinigami girl she is hot as fuck and sorachi should have use her more and ichigo is a meh character and is not well written like gintoki they are not the same just because they don't have a huge goal gintoki has this thing called being entertaining and interesting also good writing like how ayanokoji is not like hachiman just like how ichigo is not gintoki for the same reason
Gintoki is like a big brother to her Sougo × kagura has more tension they interact quite often, more like rivals, of course, but at the same time they support each other, in general they are shown as rival allies, but at the same time their relationship has potential. For example, take at least a live action, the shinsengumi arch, where Sogo and Kagura spent as much as an entire scene together, where they interact perfectly with each other, although in the anime and manga they barely crossed paths. The director was definitely aware of the popularity of their ship, I think it was some kind of treat for the fans, or at least the hope that something could be between them in the future. Kagura is not a typical female persona, aka the love interest of the main character, but at the same time she is sweet, can even be romantic, shy. Two partner options would be suitable for her adult version: 1) a person as strong as she is, so that he can cope with her strength, and so that she does not have to worry about his safety. 2) a very kind and gentle person, like that boy from the series about physical exercises in the park. Of course, in Gintama we didn't get explicit love lines between the characters, but at least hints of them. The most canonical ship at the moment in Gintama is Kondo and gorilla😂 .
