I'll watch it although it looks like the usual depressing kind of film in which gay men always end up tragic figures, and thus will be nominated for all kinds of fabulous awards. ( Can anyone say "Oscar bait"?? ) I've read a few of the author's books but not his book "Queer". Didn't know the man was bisexual (or gay), just an alcoholic-addict writer extolled by the Beat generation or whoever because he was an alcoholic junkie, which I suppose was a sign of being "cool" in those days.... (perhaps there is a link between the two as I've noticed some men who have repressed their true sexuality in order to appear hetero-normative tend to drink like fish to cope). I'm a gay man from the generation of gay men that made life a hell of a lot easier for the current generation by fighting most of the big fights in courts of law before losing their lives to, as Prince said in "Sign O' the Times", a "big disease with a little name".. Current gen of GLBTQ+ don't seem to know how the word "queer" was used in the past (it was an extremely violent word no different from the F- - - -t word, okay?? I was there so I know.) I do not identify as "queer" and never will. To me it is a term of convenience for a generation that values inclusivity while (unintentionally) reaping divisiveness and undermining community, and also a generation that doesn't know its own history. As to your review, it was excellent and to the point. I shall drink something with caffeine before watching this one..
How it going today? Just here to support the channel and hear your review. I dont think I would enjoyed watching this movie. I like watching Daniel Craig as James Bond, the detective in Knives Out, and even the movie where he played as a villain in Road to Perdition in Tom Hanks movies. I am glad to hear that like the movie and give it an honest opinion which you normally do?
Thanks for the awesome review
Thank you for tuning in and liking🙂
I enjoyed your refreshing review. I subscribed.
Appreciate you taking the time to watch and subscribing 🙂❤️
The love was not unreciprocated or unrequited though. It was unsynchronized. Daniel Craig and Luca made this point in an interview.
LOLL! Bro, hilarious. Might have to skip out on this one, Daniel Craig is top-tier though. Keep up the great work!
All good haha. Appreciate you for checking out Mr.Mod❤️🫶🏾
Greer to hear you liked it after some thought. I doubt I’ll end up giving this one a watch if I’m honest. I didn’t like challengers or bones and all.
Totally fair lol. Thanks for tuning in!
