Jeremiah is the best honestly he goes out of his way to be good for everyone and rarely gets the same level dedication given back to him.
He's a better brother to Conrad than Conrad ever was to him as he always dismisses Jeremiah's feelings and considers them unimportant.
His father clearly favors Conrad while Jeremiah always tries to give him the benefit of the doubt all while he's Dad places Conrad on a pedestal and ignoring him.
Steven he's so Called "Friend" Worshipes Conrad thinking Jeremiah is "easy" and not good enough for Belly despite all the emotional support and understanding he gives her. Ignoring that's its Jeremiah who pushes Belly to go after he dreams while with Conrad Belly spends all her time focused on him she neglects her needs.
Lastly Belly poor Jeremiah feels that she and his mother Susannah are the only people who see him. He goes out of his way to be there for her while she says she's giving herself a real chance with Jeremiah all the while she hopelessly pines for Conrad it's just not fair honestly.
Jeremiah isn't entitled to Belly's love and affections but he's entitled to have someone as hopelessly devoted to and committed to him as he is to them.

Honestly, Conrad needs to figure himself out. He thinks he’s ready for a relationship but if something ever happens like losing the house or someone he loves, he deals with it on his own and when someone tries to help him, he shuts down bc he thinks he can do anything on his own and pushes the ones who want to try to help away and hurts them. Jere deserves the happy ending this time.. I see that a lot of the Conrad fans are mad at Jere for the fireworks situation. But let’s be real, Conrad would do the same thing and he and Bells already kissed before that happened. He deserved to be upset about that. And he deserves a happier ending. He’s grown and is a good guy who would do anything for Bells, even if her choice were to choose Connie again. #TeamJelly & mostly, #TeamJere
Conrad girls can’t stop talking about the fireworks thing because it is literally the only bad thing Jere has ever done 😂 Conrad’s done so much worse so many times over and over again. Belly even says it in S2 finale “I can’t even be mad. This is who he has ever been, he never lied about that.”
For real 💯💯 he couldn't deal with and solve anything after all the yelling and disrespect with Aunt Julia. If anyone here were the older brother, that is Jere. And if Jere didn't care and found Con in the first place, they would lose the house. And idc who is the endgame, as long as Jere is happy ☺️

@GH-fb9dh literally SO true. I rewatched season one and two the past few weeks and noticed Jere has been nothing but a sweetheart except for that ONE thing he did. 😂😭. Like I stand by my point when I say that Conrad would’ve done the same thing had he seen those two making out in the pool 💀 and exactly, Conrad has done so much worse. Isn’t he the older brother? Just bc he is, doesn’t mean he needs to push everyone away bc he thinks he gots it, he needs some support group istg to grow up first of all and to stop throwing these mental breakdowns and hissy fits at everyone. Ima be so mad if him and Belly are endgame- but I can already tell that they might not be 🤭.. maybe it should end with Conrad going to a support group and getting the help he needs to be able to mentally mature and see that it’s okay to ask for help especially from those who love and care for him. Everyone should see what you said here and this video. I was a Conrad fan season one… but for what? I couldn’t and wouldn’t be able to stand for a man who only thinks for himself, thinks he has his crap sorted when in reality he doesn’t then ends up hurting the people around him. He’s a confusing character in my opinion, definitely needs to not date for a long while. especially when he once said that it doesn’t seem like he can’t do anything right when it comes to belly. I’ve also been in a toxic relationship and you can be so head over heels one moment then completely lost the next second. That’s how I was again being team Conrad for a split second. 🤭
That Fourth of July scene was hilarious. He honestly had the right to do that since he and belly literally just kissed 💀. I know Conrad would’ve probably done the same. But he also had time after to kiss her, like I’ve said - he needs to figure out his own crap. He clearly isn’t ready to be in a relationship. And it seems like if he and Bells did get back together, feels like he’d mess it all up again and he’d eventually be the one to cheat on her, not Jere. Jere’s character has improved so much! He’s grown, and belly ngl. I’ve barely seen that in Conrad as he seems to think that bc he’s the oldest and the adult, that he has EVERYTHING handled. No, no one needs to help, he’s got it all! Just started war with his aunt which resulted it to being an even tougher situation to be able to get their house back, it’s alright Belly and Jere, he’s got it handled. Just gotta do some yelling and screeching, kicking and crying on the floor. You two just go make out while I figure this all out type a deal. 💀
If anything, Conrad acts like a complete child. I’m glad when he was throwing a hissy fit (which I’d say would be allowed if you saw your ex in your sweatshirt making out with your brother against your car, then again, he could’ve told belly sooner how he felt no matter what anxiety was pushing him back) that Jere and Belly handled it well. But I don’t think it was fair for Conrad to pull the, “I know her favorite candy bc she was MY girlfriend, and will be MINE 👹.”
He should’ve just let her go, and let those two be happy if he was a good bigger brother. But ofc his younger brother had to make him stay seated as he acted as the older brother to say that if she chose him again, he’d stay out of their way and let them be happy, no matter how much it’d hurt to see them go out again.💅
I'm going to be binging a few episodes of the show tonight so I honestly don't know what's going to happen in season 3 but I would really love if she chooses Jeremiah instead
This video shows how unserious people think about Jeremiah's feelings for all of them he is playboy who sleeps with everyone without attachment because they see him as this bubbly guy who is always happy but this is not true because he never let anyone see he is suffering he prefers doing it when no one is looking,and he is capable of deeper feelings unlike Steven(his fake best friend) and everyone thinks he showed it this season this and how much more mature he is than his older brother.

They claim he is abusive and manipulative and that his every move is a calculated effort to harm Conrad or Belly, while nothing in canon supports this
The thing that breaks me the most is how Steven and jere fell off. They were so close last season and it actually hurts to act like it never even happened. And even after everything their mom always says “take care of Conrad” “he needs you” what about jere!🥺

I think its so sad how everyone says that "nothing bothers jeremiah" when in fact he is one of the most open hearted characters in the series and you can actually see how he remembers, feels and internally processes everything 🥺 thank you for paying tribute to that! And on that note... Him speaking about how his mom was the only one who truly saw him was so true. She saw right through to his true feelings and it's so sad to think he will no longer have her there to see him transparently again 😭 ("no fair" 😪😔). I really hope belly lives up to what he says about her seeing him too and doesn't break his heart without a second thought... AGAIN🙈😣 (I'm aware the plotline doesn't make that very possible 😭)

Thank you, thank you, thank you for showing how wrong Stevens words "jeremiah doesn't challenge belly" were wrong. Jere doesn't "fight" belly BUT he DOES challenge both her and conrad and you showed that beautifully in how he got his brother to work with him and speak to their dad and how he got belly to feel she could take on volleyball again😍 (plus telling her to have an honest conversation with conrad).

In the books, Jeremiah cheats on belly (they were on pause with their relationship, but belly thought they weren’t and Jere thought they were), he cheats on her with a girl from his boy club trip. Then right after that he proposes to her, and belly accepts it, which I thought was a total bad move. But the day of the wedding Jeremiah disappears because belly told him that Conrad confessed to her last night, and he got mad, but she was just trying to be honest with him. Anyway, in the end she doesn’t pick Jeremiah. She marry’s Conrad a few years later. There are some other details that are probably important, but thats the summary.

Love will say, I got what I wanted, I beat someone to it and even kept it cordial with them, I was chosen, I was offering something no one else could. I am going to make this the best. I am going to love, live and enjoy.

I need Jeremiah in my life😍
I don’t love Jere but I understand why people prefer him to Conrad, he has a friendly character once you understand him, and you start to feel sorry for him and realise he’s not just the nice guy who’s been played. He goes about things in the wrong ways sometimes, feels differently in ways that are similar and different to Conrad, puts on a fake face for people he loves but he isn’t right for Belly. Jere is sweet, compassionate and an overthinker at times while he struggles, building up all this emotion from holding everything in much like Conrad. But in reality Jere will never be right for Belly, he sees Belly as the girl he’s liked “forever”, his best friend the girl he wants to be in his life forever but Belly plays him, Belly just sees him as a distraction, a platonic best friend, leads him on, and tries to convince herself she can settle with Jere while she loves Conrad more than anyone, Jere needs someone easier because he isn’t able to challenge Belly the way Conrad does and understand her the same way, he needs someone who will always be there for him and not someone like Belly who doesn’t know what she wants. Even Cam is thrown to the side while she’s waiting for Conrad, for Belly it will always be Conrad, and for Conrad he will realise it was always Belly, you can see how much Conrad loves Belly through the emotion he feels when he’s with her, the sudden rush of happiness and joy he gets out of just being near her, with her, in comparison to when he’s alone, isolating himself because of his mental health, grieving of Susannah, and his dad. When Jere bottles all his emotions up we see how he truly acts when he shows it, the nice guy with a fake face when he shoots fireworks at Belly and Conrad ,ruining their first kiss, going on to kiss her next episode, it doesn’t sit right with me because it feels like she is he goal to finally accomplish something Conrad hasn’t, and take that away from him because he’s the more jealous younger brother even if he still likes her. And if you have read the books they weren’t “on break” in my opinion plus even if they were you don’t sleep with someone when ur with “the love of ur life” !remember all my opinion! When we see how Jere acts towards Conrad when he’s angry or jealous for example the Deb Ball scene or the fight after the party where he calls Conrad a coward and uses Belly to attempt to frustrate him, accusing Conrad of pushing Belly to the side when he was looking after his own mental state and trying to be what Belly wanted him to be while in reality he can’t with his overflow of emotions. When Conrad talks about belly to Cleveland (the guy Laurel is hooking up with, dating) he says how he wants to start something with belly but he doesn’t wanna fuck it up and in another scene he says “it hurts, my chest physically hurts, to not be able to tell her I’m in love with her”, showing he wants to express emotion but is struggling too because of his mental state. And at the end of S2 (SPOILERS!) Belly ends up with Jere while they leave Conrad isolated while if we flashback to the start Conrad and Belly decide not to get together because of Jere, to protect him. Also, in the 4th of July scene when Conrad and Belly and talking, laughing together after dinner Jere is jealous (ofc it’s fine to be jealous but the way he handles it). After Belly leaves Jere privately “confronts” Conrad for talking with a girl he likes, and says “Next time we meet, tell me that you guys (Belly and Conrad) are going to be together” and going back to the fight with Jere and Conrad, he accuses Conrad for pushing Belly away when really he was the separation between them. Also, in the 4th of July scene when he shows he jealousy he is looking at Conrad and not Belly “the love of his life”, this to me shows a sense of jealousy towards Conrad having something he doesn’t, as he’s looking at Conrad. Jere’s reaction to Conrad and Belly is “he’s going to break ur heart” while Conrad’s is “take care of her, I’m sorry for trying to mess things up” you don’t see Jere apologising or coming forward about shooting the firework, and people may see the statement “my genius plan to stay pissed at her, keeping her arms length is a failure” as romantic, but I see pure jealousy and toxicity. Conrad was “toxic” when he was hurt, struggling Jere was when he was jealous. Jere will know what makes her happy, Conrad will know why she is happy and be the reason to make her happy. In the volleyball scene Belly has a known handshake with Conrad while we Jere he needs to learn one she has with Taylor, Conrad and Belly have a stronger bond than her and Jere, Conrad knows all the little things and is the reason she has half of her memories (glass unicorn, Junior Mint, Infinity) , notices them, Jere wants to make her happy. There is a difference only emotionally intelligent people understand.
