Here we have the first of the builds….the Tamiya Mad bull which was donated to Moo moo.
Moo moo built this kit all by herself,and was out kicking up the dust the very same day!

That girls more of a lad than her husband Taylor!
Looking forward to seeing how she does with it around the time trials figure of eight..... especially aa Peter has gifted her a 15 turn motor to put in it!

Like you, I wasn't struck at first glance mate.....
But the handling on this thing is a complete joy!
It's low slung, well balanced, pretty quick, and steers very precisely..... It just really shouldn't drive as well as it does, especially on those huge wheels!
The perfect car for moo moo, she loves it!

This one was all Moo moos work..... She built and painted it all herself, and was then out bashing it a few hours later!
It's definitely a fun little buggy that's for sure.

Yeah man, it's a really quirky kit for sure.
What suprised me was just how well it handled, especially with those huge wheels and tires.
It is really fast, well balanced, and has a great turning circle.
She has a 15 turn brushed motor and new esc now ready to go in it this week....... think it's time to take it around the figure of eight track for a time trial session now!

A fantastic kit from a very nice gent! Well done MooMoo on the build and the colour choice is spot-on, it looks similar to Rob's! What a blast on that gravel, out of control and bringing smiles to everyone's face! Great stuff! 😁👌👍

I still can't believe it, and we are all so pleased with our goodies!
Mine and Taylors may take a while to get built, as we now have not one, but two speed challenges to prepare for!!
Time to dig out Mr Hanky and start trying to beat Taylor without wrecking the buggy!

Peter also bought Taylor a TTO2 kit, and me a Hornet kit...... what a legend! 🙏
More on these coming soon.
And yes, the colour worked well mate..... she intentionally left the stickers off knowing that this car would be getting driven hard!
This gives her the potential to respray/refresh it as and when she needs to.

This is a great little local spot for taking the Tamiyas out......
Infact, it's the very same place me and my mates used to run our cars way back in the mid to late eighties!

I bet that looks really cool..... Kamtec make some great body shells.
I have a Kamtec bubble arch mk1 Escort,and a split screen vw camper bus ready to use in some projects over the winter.... Possibly to go on the lunchbox chassis.
Yeah,I was really surprised how well the Mad bull drove for what it is.
It's a real fun Tamiya with lots of character.
We have a 15turn motor upgrade in store for this one..... Should give it a bit more punch!

I'm not going to make any comments about 'women drivers' as I don't want a slap..... but in her defence it's actually really hard to line up a jump on that loose gravel, the cars just slide about all over the place! 😂

I turned out looking great and looked like a real blast out there ripping around! they are incredibly fun buggies and run well in almost all areas! Have fun with it and I am sure we will see it again in the parking lot for some fun laps!

It's so refreshing to see a female building and running rc cars with the lads!
Truth be known, she's actually better at it than her hubby Taylor! 😂
Quite a remarkable kit, it really does outperform the sum of its parts..... It's actually a really nimble buggy to drive as I'm sure you will know!
And yes...... we definitely need to get this one around the trusty figure of eight and get it up on the leaderboard!
She's now got a new 15 turn motor from Peter ready to go in it.
The Tescos track is getting fully resurfaced with fresh smooth Tarmac as we speak...... and we have so many new cars to get round at some point this year!
But for now, we have two speed challenges to focus on..... see you in the challenges my friend!

I'm supposing this another vintage out of production kit? Love to build that.
Actually this is a recent re release mate.
But I do believe Tamiya stopped making it last year, although it can still be found on line or ebay new in box.
It's a fun little car to drive that's for sure, very quirky!

The hop up video may need to wait for a bit buddy..... we released two videos tonight to try and free up some space on swifty's phone to enable us to get a holiday buggy built and then enter a DT02 speed challenge that you may have heard about! 😂
Crikey...... this is guna get messy.... me and Taylor speed running a DT02, what could possibly go wrong? 🤔

As for the speed challenge, the runner body arrived today, I now need to find a way of mounting Mr Hanky the speed run poo in the cab (I'm sure you saw him in the TTO2 speed runs last year?!)
Oh yeah, there's definitely guna be entertainment guaranteed, and lots of bad driving! 😂
