This was recorded prior to Nightwing getting injured. Performance reviews on the Kyrie Low, adidas Pro Bounce, Nike Hyperdunk X, Puma Clyde Court Disrupt, Air Jordan 33 and LeBron 16s are still coming. Holy SH*T that is a lot of shoes to test! You guys are too hard on the old man. Thanks for watching!!!
The bloopers/convos with your wife added to the videos makes the videos so genuine and more enjoyable to watch. Nightwing smart adding humor to his content 👌🏻😂
this is one of the best performance basketball sneakers of all time, IMHO. the cushion and foamposite backed materials just blew my mind. It was one of the first performance shoes that really made me realize that technology and advancements in footwear was a legit thing. Thanks for this video, man. I am going to wear my pair of 11's tomorrow at the gym just for old times sake.
Peter Woodaman these were actually the shoes that got me really into sneaker tech as well. First ones where it was super noticeable. And then boost came, and better woven materials etc. what a time to be into this stuff
The Everglades colorway is one of the sickest to rock on court and even casually with black skinny jeans. The full length zoom makes them still playable to date and the Maison colorway that's green with gray is nasty for casual wear as well.
Still to this day one of my favorite sneakers. Even all these years and wears laters my pair still feels better with every wear and other than cosmetics have held up amazingly 🐐 the goat talking about the goat shoe
Thanks for this awesome review. I think that the quality of your videos is always better and better And I played in those, witch was great but wear them casually hurt my pinky toes so bad....
My favourite Lebron’s aesthetically! Completely agree with the tight fit. Lebron 15 most comfortable model for me, yet to try 16s. Wearing the 11s on the street is a real head turner, people love them!
The LeBron 11's were friggin' great, imo...until the cushion bottoms out. Then, they really aren't all that comfortable anymore. Great retro review! I still have my pair. Just haven't worn them in years.
I am loving these retro reviews, this was the first basketball shoe I bought after watching your performance reviews, such a throwback! Keep up the great work Nightwing and WearTesters staff.
I have 2 pairs of these still. Underrated in my opinion since Lebron didn't play in them much that season because they didn't fit his foot right. He wore the soldier line the majority of that season. Does everything good and the cushion is great.
As someone that only got into shoe collecting after the lebron 14 dropped, this video is the exact thing I benefit from. I want to collect older LeBron’s but I need comparisons to what’s out now.
I feel like the LeBron 11 and the Jordan XX9 are the best performers of their time but in opposite ends of the spectrum (one's more supportive with hella cushion while the other's a full on woven with just the right cushion)
Just bought a pair on eBay, waiting for them come in. You know we gotta come check out Chris’ opinion on them 😂 I have a pair of Kobe 9 elites I’d like to put that zoom in too
I have the Bred pair and I remember them being the coldest pair of shoes I had seen in some time. That material is a commitment to break in though, which I never did. Going from the Bron 15 or 16 back to the Bron 11 probably strictly for nostalgia. Remember this was the same generation that Bron avoided like the plague; he balled in the Soldiers and Bron 10s that season. Last words on the Bron 11: Be a man, break in the toebox lol.
Awesome to see this review, I just picked up a pair fairly recently in the Dunkman colorway. This review has got me excited to play in them. The only thing is I have orthotics so I normally remove the insole. Because this shoe has a drop in midsole that’s not going to be an option. We’ll have to see how it goes 🤷🏻♂️
Godspeed to Nightwing. Didn't realize he was hurt. Surprisingly I have a diff take on these shoes. I STILL have my pair which I bought new 5 years ago. I actually think the foamposite hasn't aged well. They're so heavy and stiff. Compared to the 15s and 16s? Man. Night and day!
These are still my favorite Lebron shoe ever made in terms of aesthetics I think. Just a really awesome look and pretty much every colorway looked dope on this shoe. Love the drop-in midsole, love the design of the foamposite paneling and I really love how they incorporated the swoosh on this shoe. It really just looked like an over-engineered shoe... like if NASA was going to make a basketball shoe, it'd be something like this lol. Idk that's just how I felt at the time. The only thing I didn't like about this shoe was the traction, and with my pairs I could never wear them for too long without my pinky toe starting to hurt because of the toe box being so tight on my foot. Lebron himself actually had the same issue I think and rarely wore this shoe in the 2013-2014 season. He wore the soldiers a lot more. I've still got two pairs of these. The south beach colorway, and the heats "away" colorway. I had the christmas pair and the king's pride release colorway at one time but god rid of those. Either way, love this shoe still.
I still have my pair of the Golden King’s Pride that I haven’t worn yet. I bought it from clearance for $100 as oppose to its $200 retail price. Talk about a steal.
They were my go tos until I wore down the outsole completely. A lot of good memories with playing in that shoe. Still using the midsole in my kobes because I need cushion to reduce tension in my knees
I had a pair of the original black and red colorway before they "revamped" the toe box. I bought them in my usual size 10 and it was super cramped in the toe box, and I got a lot of hot spots on my pinky. I ended up swapping the cushion from my kobe 8 into the lebron 11, which freed up a lot more space and made the shoe wearable and comfortable to play in, and I popped the lebron 11 insole into my kobe 9.
The best part of this shoe was that during the release year, you can NikeID the the shit of it. So I made myself a pair of nike Yeezy color way LBJ11. They look BOMB!
Love the 11s. Theyre my go to hoop shoes because they have a little bit of everything. The drop in midsole was originally meant for my mamba mentality but after hooping in these I fell in love with it. I remember when they first released I hated the look and all lebron models because they were bulky as fk, but now I love the look. overall the cushioning and traction are their best features respectively and there are some pinching in the forefoot that needs break in time. But after that it's an amazing hoop shoe imo.
Copped the all-star pairs 3 years after the release (thanks, SoleSpremacy ebay bids 😂) and I still wear my Christmas pair every December but more most of the time I put the midsole insert into Kobe 9's 😂
Kobe 8 was the best hooping/looking, most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. Good times, ik the next protro is the 4, but I can't wait for them to do any of the 6/8/9/11 😯😯😯
Bought a pair of 11s just for the midsole and put em in my Kobe 9 lows. Freaking loved them, and about 2 months later someone broke into my car and stole about $2000 worth of stuff including the shoes. Funnily enough I was the most pissed that I lost the midsole lol
I had a pair of the Akron v. Miami colorway, and the BHM colorway and hooped in both. In each colorway the sole of one of them ripped in the exact same spot. With that said these are my favorite LeBron’s as far as aesthetics go. I would love to find a pair even though I’ve already went through two. This time, for casual use.
I have the south beach colorway (which was on StockX for a steal of a price) and they’re 🔥🔥🔥 on court except for the traction and clunkiness in the heel. It’s still a good performer though. I wanna get the Miami heat,Ohio state , and Kings pride colorways to rock of the court. This is my favorite LeBron of all time hands down ❗️
I have a pair of 11 lows and I cant even get the insole out of it, they arent known for performance for a reason BUT it has full length air max and for casual purposes they are the most comfortable shoe I own. Just a shame the contrast in tech/performance between the high with the slide in mid sole and the low with foam mid sole sitting on top of full length air max.
I love the shoe esthetically, but the toe box shape just wrecked havoc on my wide feet lol I have the Christmas pair and the terra-cotta warrior ones too, but wear them very seldom because of the pain lol
This was recorded prior to Nightwing getting injured. Zack Pang he needs to review the flightposites
Who thinks that Lebron 11's is one of the BEST design in nike
I generally like the LeBron designs but I gotta say I like the 12s better
Me, the LeBron 11s best from the LeBron line
Hell Yeah, the MegaTrons are one of the best Hoop Shoes ever made!
I'M DUMB i wear a 12 in the Kyrie 5.. are these as snug as those?
The first time I see it, i just like: omg
The bloopers/convos with your wife added to the videos makes the videos so genuine and more enjoyable to watch. Nightwing smart adding humor to his content 👌🏻😂
The bloopers w his wife are the funniest thing 😂
I used to drop that midsole in my Kobe 9's. #killer
Tony Swinton Still the best combo
Hey I just bought a pair for $88 on eBay mainly for the midsole... think it’s swappable with an 11? I’ve read it might be a lil tight
@@stevenqbosell how did it work out??
I put mines in my kobe 11s

Plus they look dope as hell
I hated mine. I thought the upper was too uncomfortable. Couldn’t get past the break in period
Ronnie Jackson Jr my foot was growing constantly when I had these I transitioned to the lows
The King’s Pride color way is so underrated
Just bought them. .and don't know what to do with em...they're more art than equipment. .
@@TheVideoChain I agree, I have the ASG edition and i dont ball in them. Cant imagine them being damaged.
My fav shoe of all time what first got me into sneakers
I remember watching Lebron 11 reviews back in 2013! I still have my King's pride and still one of my favorite shoe to hoop in.
The cushion in the 11 put in the Kobe 9 high top. That was a match made in heaven. I've kept that setup for the last two years and it's still amazing.
Need more of these retro reviews! Brings back the high school memories.
The Everglades colorway is one of the sickest to rock on court and even casually with black skinny jeans. The full length zoom makes them still playable to date and the Maison colorway that's green with gray is nasty for casual wear as well.
Feels like yesterday when these sneakers came out lmao. I was a lil 7th grader and I remember seeing these all over and it’s crazy how times gone by.
my favorite parts are when you talk to your wife , your videos are always my favorites to watch even all the nerd stuff you unbox 🙌🏽
Still to this day one of my favorite sneakers. Even all these years and wears laters my pair still feels better with every wear and other than cosmetics have held up amazingly 🐐 the goat talking about the goat shoe
Thanks for this awesome review. I think that the quality of your videos is always better and better

Bought a pair of these to put their insoles in the Kobe 9’s
Where did you get them?
Check out stockx

The most beautiful shoe ever made.
One of my favourite in lebron line.Look like a jetfighter.Badass

the beginnings of the conversation. love it
Great retro vid @nightwing2303! Im loving the interaction with Mrs nightwing!!
As someone that only got into shoe collecting after the lebron 14 dropped, this video is the exact thing I benefit from. I want to collect older LeBron’s but I need comparisons to what’s out now.
These insoles in the Kobe NXT and Kobe 8s are 🔥
I feel like the LeBron 11 and the Jordan XX9 are the best performers of their time but in opposite ends of the spectrum (one's more supportive with hella cushion while the other's a full on woven with just the right cushion)
Bro you are the living goat I’ve been thinking of buying these all week
Just bought a pair on eBay, waiting for them come in. You know we gotta come check out Chris’ opinion on them 😂 I have a pair of Kobe 9 elites I’d like to put that zoom in too
Love this throwback concept 😍
I DID play in the Lebron 4s and they were really good sneakers to play ball in
Still play in these and absolutely love them so much, they're one of the best hoop shoes for me
The Megatrons! Man, I love these shoes experience the purple and black and the red and black colorway. The Megatrons were a DOPE hoop shoe FR
I love the 11s, keep the retro reviews comin!
The outtakes are comic gold!
Omg thank you for making these retro reviews. I love them. Keep up the great work.
Man I had to revisit this vid...love the LBJ11s ....ShupportShank 🤣
I’ve been playing in these for a while now and I still love them!
Love the retro reviews
Love this shoe, definitely had to go up half a size, my feet are not wide maybe it's a big toe but goung up half size made these play like a dream.
I wasn't really into sneakers back when these came out but I just picked up a pair while thrift shopping yesterday and can't wait to play in them
I got a pair of miami nights from a friend and they are super good , i hope they re release another pair in the future

They're beasts! Its still in my rotation.
Still play on these and i must say still fits like a glove, love the fit and cushion
The first shoe that started my love to basketball sneakers
So underrated.. the design ahead of its time
Thx man for the video, it's amazing since I'm getting a ball shoe
I just bought some more of these a few months ago. They are perfect for me and my game.
They were my go tos until I wore down the outsole completely. A lot of good memories with playing in that shoe. Still using the midsole in my kobes because I need cushion to reduce tension in my knees
Love the 11s, I got the Miami Nights colorway last month for $60 used on Ebay.
Still play in my LeBron 11s to this day. One of my overall favorites to play in
My go to shoe now. Waiting to try the 16s next.
I had a pair of the original black and red colorway before they "revamped" the toe box. i used to wear it on court, but now i have the kobe 1 protro and those are preatty good
I still have these, and they still play great.
You gotta add these retro reviews in the rotation... would love to know ur thoughts on something like the LeBron 7
This midsole in the jordan 2012 is actually really fun to play in
They need more drop in midsoles. It’s just plain fun to mess around with what you can do.
Love the 11s, I got the Miami Nights colorway last month for $60 on Ebay.
The best part of this shoe was that during the release year, you can NikeID the the shit of it. So I made myself a pair of nike Yeezy color way LBJ11. They look BOMB!
One of the best looking pair of modern LeBron's imo
Love the 11s. Theyre my go to hoop shoes because they have a little bit of everything. The drop in midsole was originally meant for my mamba mentality but after hooping in these I fell in love with it. I remember when they first released I hated the look and all lebron models because they were bulky as fk, but now I love the look. overall the cushioning and traction are their best features respectively and there are some pinching in the forefoot that needs break in time. I remember try to cop them when I was in high school the first shoe that make a sneaker fan
i throw my drop in midsoles in my kobe 9 elites and the cushion combined with the flexibility is godly. feels like im playing on a cloud 👌🏼
I still play on my Christmas lbj 11s! I agree on everything! But my pairs outsoles suprisingly lasted all ther wears!
When Nike retro these I will have money saved up just to buy the colorways that I couldn’t get. Man the 11’s and 10’s 😍😍
Kobe 8 was the best hooping/looking, most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. Good times, ik the next protro is the 4, but I can't wait for them to do any of the 6/8/9/11 😯😯😯
I really enjoyed playing in these. Would definitely play in them again if I could get a new pair.
I've switched Lebron 11's midsole with my Kobe 9
And both of them feels better now.....
Lebron 11's forefoot is killing my toe....
Bought a pair of 11s just for the midsole and put em in my Kobe 9 lows. Freaking loved them, and about 2 months later someone broke into my car and stole about $2000 worth of stuff including the shoes. Funnily enough I was the most pissed that I lost the midsole lol
The toebox at first would feel like it had a death grip on my toes, but it broke in after a couple weeks. These shoes are tanks. Mine still look new.
They are great motorcycle shoes so are the 12’s and 13’s
Drop in mid soles are the best still use the lebron 11 soles in most of my kobes
Haha. One of my favorite LeBrons. I always reference these. Nice Vid!
Dope video and one of LeBron’s best looking shoe after the LeBron 9 in my opinion!
I put the Lebron 11 insole into my Kobe 11 elites, and got a few dunks.
I still ball in mine even though I popped a zoom unit. I cut a thin insole to the shape of the zoom unit and put it under the insert worked ok
Now he's wearing a nightwing shirt , it's so cool
Tried playing in them for a while.. totally killed my pinky toe everytime i put them on. I regret not having gone half a size up.
One of the best Lebrons ever!
hey nightwing could u please give me a link for that leg sleeve u have on?
That "shupport shank" is impressive
The intro shots made me like
I have the south beach colorway (which was on StockX for a steal of a price) and they’re 🔥🔥🔥 on court except for the traction and clunkiness in the heel. It’s still a good performer though. I wanna get the Miami heat,Ohio state , and Kings pride colorways to rock of the court. This is my favorite LeBron of all time hands down ❗️
What's your size?
Hahaha! Shupport shank plate! 😊, loved the lebron 11's, my miami colorway is already worn out though but i still use inserts on my kobe
Love playing in the 11s
Lebron XI good looking shoe but horrible fit for me LOL, hurt my toe and need to upsize if you want to play in it
Just worn mines all day. Comfy but now my big toe is killing me
I have a pair of 11 lows and I cant even get the insole out of it, they arent known for performance for a reason BUT it has full length air max and for casual purposes they are the most comfortable shoe I own.
