If only we all had someone to help us like this during our periods it would make them easier to deal with. Showing someone your vulnerable side and your pain can be embarrassing. I know I find it hard myself to show when I'm in pain and not feeling well, but having the right person makes it easier and more comfortable.

Hey Dawn! I know you mean well, but just something to consider: perhaps don’t describe the other person as looking “pale” when sick. It may alienate your listeners with darker skin and the scenario loses some of its momentum in that moment. Just a perspective to think about!

Im always violently sick and throw up alot on my period due to cyclic vomiting syndrome and its awful im stuck in the bathroom for hours and its the worst vomiting every 5-10 minutes. The fact blood makes me queasy allso doesnt help
