      the least thing u wanna do is to spend too much time during challenge phase, just go for 1-2% a trade and passed it asap. its not like personal account that small gain is still gain, challenge phase r wasting ur time and energy and the opportunity cost is too large

    • @deepaklachman9340
      @deepaklachman9340 3 месяца назад

      Why do you make 1-2% in the funded phase and then wait for payout?
      I am going to assume that it is necessary to stay under the radar but could you not just take 1-2% in payout to not set off alarm bells
      Or
      Do you approach it like that so that you don't lose your gains?
      Or
      Simply because of the risky nature you are not putting in more effort than is necessary

    Nice video Kimmel! Keep them coming. So, on my risk protocol, I risk 0.33% on challenges and 0.11% on funded accounts. As you can see, it's a very conservative approach. As traders, in order to make more money, we have to focus on getting more capital instead of trying to make huge percentage returns by risking too much capital.

    My risk management protocol is stick to 0.5% per entry when in drawdown. After my drawdown hit -2%, I will decrease my risk to 0.25% and stay more in the game until reach breakeven. The key to pass is make sure we got much time as the challenge nowadays was unlimited times. So no need to rush with risking more to stay out the drawdown phase. Simple but powerful strategy. Thank you kimmel for this opportunity. You are the best man.

    And for some reasons I don't know, I prefer getting done with one challenge before moving on to the other rather than trading both at once, what would you say is the cause of this? could it be because I am not professional yet? I have registered through the link too.

    My risk management protocol is very conservative because I can't afford to buy another challenges if I go aggressive and eventually I blow the account
    So, I risk 0.5% per trade until I'm up 2%, then I risk 1% until I pass or back to original balance
    Everytime I lose a trade a reduce a risk by half, cause probably can be a losing streak coming in. To compliment that, I allow maximum 2 losses or win per trading day.

    I believe that VAR should depend on once style of trading and statistical win percentage. As a swing trader, my trading frequency is very low that I have to risk more per trade to have a livable returns at the end of the year. I risk 1-2% per trade.
    With regards to RRR, I don’t have a fix one because I usually trail my stops. I take partials @ 1:1 and let my trade run until it hits my trailing stops or exiting when it shows signs of reversal.

    My risk management protocol is to risk 0.5% per trade while aiming for 3r. I stop trading for the day after two wins or 3 losses.
    I do not intend to exceed 0.5% risk because it's a pretty decent amount to risk when trading huge amount of Capital so I have to train myself to get used to 0.5% risk.

    Awesome video! Thanks! What is your monthly yield target? Regarding your $200k+ yearly target with $5m, that's like 0.5% yield per month... I was told that trading bots for funded accounts exist that can do 1-3% monthly conservatively and passively (maybe I'm wrong), so I'm thinking you could expect a lot more. Also, are there any such bots that you recommend for funded accounts? Thank you!

    A Ques :-
    What is the Best way to adapt when M.S & Volatality changes in a particular Pair ?
    For EX :- From 2021 to 2023 EU was in preety clean Bearish M.S . But , Once ECB increase Intrest Rates on Jan 2023 , It broke all the MS and End up way more volatile in that situation Daily looks Bad but 1H,4H can make sense . So How should a Trader Adapt Time to Time According to Market Conditions ?
    ( To me it looks best to just Trade Pro-Trend & Follow the Price & Analyse HTF 1D , 1W to understand bigger picture , Am i missing something or is there a Better Way to Reasses ? )

  • @nyoj24
    @nyoj24 3 месяца назад +3

    Honestly ive been pondering on this for some time as it relates to scaling up funding. I feel like sub 1 million funding the safest thing is 0.5% risk which ensures once u stick to your rules u can secure payouts and reinvest back into firms to scale funding. Once you enter 1 mil or mutliple 7 figs of funding id personally play with mixing risk. Half of the accounts on 0.5% risk and the other half on 1%. Especially if u focus on hitting scaling with firms where some firms give u increased drawdown, if u have multiple account and can diversify risk then you can play with 1% risk with ease. If drawdown goes to 4-5 then reduce risk on 1% risk accounts but the 0.5% risk stays the same as once u have lower risk drawdown is easier to recover. For my style of trading id be fine putting all accounts on a copier but also scale off accounts when I hit 3-5% for the payout. Have some accounts you leave on to see how far you can push but make sure to secure payouts accordingly

    Your risk management is highly influenced by where you stand financially. If I have already secured some payouts, then I can lean more on the aggressive side, 2/3% per trade, but for someone that's trading thier first challenge/funded account then 0,5% is the way, only when you are up 2% or more then you can start risking 1% per trade

    Well, if I have an account on mt4 that is copying trades from a certain group, is it poosible to link this account with my 200k funded account? I mean as prop firms don't allow copy trading unless the account copying from is under your name

    Nice video Kimmel. I'm doing a fun experiment where I treat each eval account as 1 trade. On futures there are cheaper evals but harder rules with the trailing draw. Do you have any experience with trailing draws? If you have any tips/tricks for how to pass the challenges with trailing draws that would be interesting to hear. My idea is that on the first trade I go big so if I lose sure I have eaten into the draw but at least not the trailing draw. If I win and I'm up say $2k on that first trade and my eval goal is $3k and I have $2,500 in draw, now I trade smaller because I have a much larger draw relative to profit target available to work with.

    Can you help give a list of some of the propfirms you want to trade with, you know most propfirms don't allow the use of trade copiers, so I'll like if you can just mention the firms you're comfortable trading with

    How does the fact of you not using stops losses in the FTMO account does't breach any rules of the propfirm?

    I risk 1% on challenge phases . I like being a bit aggressive in challenge phases. And at the funded stage i would like to half my risk size to 0.5%.

    On Challenge Accounts
    I risk 1% till down 5% then 0.5 till im down 7.5% then 0.25% till i lose the account
    On Funded Accounts
    I will risk 0.25% and never change the risk, if im in a lot of drawdown I will increase my RR/ Targets from my 1:2.5 average to 1:4
