Just a heads up. I will be posting my interview of Vekoma tomorrow. I know a lot of you guys are asking for Vekoma, but please be patient. It will come.
Insightful interview! I appreciate your professional approach and editing. Maximilian knows his stuff, and knows how to communicate what makes Mack's rides so exciting in concise and to the point answers. Met him last year at EAS 17 for an interview and I really enjoyed his kind welcome! Very considerate guy with a real passion for his job. Your interview is one of the better I've seen - great questions for a great interviewee and with perfectly decent audio and video editing. Definitely sharing it ;) - Philippe
Love your interviews. You ask insightful questions but not "dumb enthusiast questions" which I like. It's respectful and lots of cool info comes out. Thank you for the coverage!
I really like your videos. IAAPA is a huge deal in the industry and its nice that you cover some stuff there. The audio quality is really good. Exhibitions are usually loud but you managed the background sound. That newsagent mic is really nice.
Very nice interview! It’s cool to know how Mack Rides is such a reliable company. It’s interesting how Mack Rides (as far as I know) is the only manufacturer that clones hyper coasters. And I notice a change in layouts from their older coasters (blue fire, helix) to their new coasters (Copperhead Strike, Icon, DC Rivals). Great job to them so far and keep of the Greta work TPC!
Really hopeful that Mack will become more prominent in the US, their rides are definitely more unique and would even be able to fill some niches in more developed parks
Queensland local here - DC Rivals is amazing, and yes, you can see if very well from the highway (main route through the Gold Coast). It is also a design that makes best use of limited and quite an awkward space the front of the park, running from beside the access road, around the entrance driveway, and within spitting distance of the smaller Green Lantern coaster. The airtime is fantastic no matter where you sit (but floater in the front, spectacular ejector in the back), and the best decision was to have those backwards facing seats! As with all rides though, riding it religiously over the Halloween Fright Nights season does take the shine off by the end :(, but will be back to ride it next season! My only complaint is the wishy-washy theming by Movie World, especially when compared to neighbouring Arkham Asylum and Superman Escape.
Fact is: Adding a German accent to anything about rollercoasters makes them better and more reliable. Think Werner Stengel, Anton Schwarzkopf, this guy... :-)

Kinda surprised you didn't mention Slinky Dog Dash. It would've been interesting hearing how MACK Rides worked alongside Disney.

You’re a really good interviewer. Intelligent questions that cut to the chase and still get lots of info.
