Mobility exercise, for my wife and I who are "old" we can't even imagine being able to do any of those exercises, but we do remember the good old days. The sauna is a no-go for me! And if I might add, your femininity and certain body parts that are fairly obvious. I have watch at least 100 of your videos to date. I wasn't initially expecting much from this one, but felt I was rewarded by watching all the way through.Thank you!

Start of the video Tristan taught me how to dive. She's a pro. now. Near middle of video Alley just belly flops into the lake. So not quite a pro, yet. This was a fun little video.
Yayyyyyyy!!! Johnny Canuck, who is that new damsel in the water? Why, that's Wanderlust Alley! She has gone full Canadian! She works like a Canadian, swims like a Canadian, talks like a Canadian, has a boyfriend who does Canadian man stuff, she swims off a dock at the cottage at sunrises and sunsets. You can't get any more Canadian!!! This is my favourite episode so far. (For real, no foolin', I found this video while taking a break while working on my Canadian cabin. How Canadian is that, eh?) I used to give you five stars. That's not enough for this one! Five hundred thousand million billion, zillion trillion stars for this episode, Alley. Glad you made it to full-time RUclipsr! So wonderful you dropped California vibe like a wet beach towel for the love of a Canadian Indian Summer. Congrats. Easy on the maple syrup. :) Yayyyyyy!

You might want to consider a wetsuit for swimming in lakes in Canada. It's gonna be cold even with one but damn, you're gonna freeze swimming there in autumn/winter.
As a Canadian who was born and raised on the East Coast, and has lived on the West Coast, I gotta say it warms my heart to see someone fall in love with the country that I love. I grew up very similar to your current situation: surrounded by water and forests. It's... heavenly. Even the winter can be amazing! I hope you try all the quintessential Canadian winter activities like snow-shoeing, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, skating on a frozen lake, snowmobiling, and building a snow shelter or igloo. I know as a California girl the cold might take a little getting used to... but honestly, if you have a good pair of boots, snow pants, and a good jacket... it's super comfortable. The cold air hitting your face and your cheeks burning just a little from the cold wind... gosh... it's breath-taking. I love the city, there's so much energy and life around... but the forests and water are where my soul feels healthiest. Glad you guys don't have a crazy amount of black-flies or mosquitos though. Hope your Canadian adventure stays awesome come the winter. I can't wait for you to experience a Canadian Autumn.
Don't hold your hands above your head before you dive. Use your arms to help you jump and curve into the water. And DON'T USE A TABLE SAW! Leave it alone if you have one. Fantastic video!!

Keep in mind some peoples work just look like the holiday of someone else... It's called luxury. If you've seen her working on a cruise ship, it really is the opposite. Keeping luxury up and running is the expensive thing. "full time youtuber" often means that the personal finances from earlier jobs are enough to don't work in classical structures and RUclips, especially at just 300k subscribers is just something extra to get a bit longer offtime. You don't see what's behind the camera, it's probably a week of work before filming started...

How do you find the actual places to live, the city and the actual living space? It just all seems so random, but there must be a method to the madness? As someone who has moved a few times but only within the same city, it just seems so hard to be moving all your stuff all over the world constantly. Isn't it hard to keep friends and stuff when you're always on the move? Idk just been wondering.

I agree that it’s wrong to lump Canadians and Americans together. But it’s also wrong to assume there’s one type of Canadian or one type of American that is represented by how you grew up in SoCal. A lot of Americans grew up in rural areas and have plenty of experience starting fires and using home-built saunas. It’s not a “Canadian” thing.
