I couldn't hear the difference between hand lubed and factory frankly, but the modded spacebar and other stabilized keys sound great.

Do you know if MDA profile keycaps work on this keyboard?

I can't be totally sure as I haven't tried them, but I believe they should fit, I think cherry profile keycaps are the only type where you might run into issues.
