Is it better to upgrade my gold hunter to explosion hunter? or should I just forge a dragons breath gear from my thunderspears? I'm not sure because I think the spinning slash skill from the gold hunter is very useful but I'm not sure if the forging process and using up my only mythical gear(i dont have any better gear) is worth it or not
If you care about the gold that the gold hunter gives then not But other than that you should definitely upgrade it and dragons breath isn’t really worth because of the nerf

It has good skills and good stats so it is decent for beginners but some gears are better like Ambush MK2
