Porter Robinsons nurture has helped me immensely in the past 2 years since its release. One of the best crafted and emotional pieces I have ever heard from any musical artist. Truly inspirational and has helped me become a better person. As a listener from outside of japan this songs noise is the epitome of what I'd expect from listening in japan and truly wraps the album together in ways I cant describe. Porter if you ever read this I want you to know that you have changed my life for the better. You make me feel alive and able to create. The human race is a boundless, indomitable spirit that will live on with works of intellectual arts such as this

This song is incredibly special to me, because as a fan of wedcamp, and especially of Kom_i, I feel this as her farewell, it was her last work related to more "commercial" music, her last contact with the general public, I'm glad it was with Porter on this album.

I wouldn't have minded if this had appeared on the global release of the album. This track is so good, and it's a shame so many fewer people will hear it.
but that's for me what makes it so damn special. In a confession of the soul comes the lullaby of nature, and not just any lullaby, an indirect yet close reference to the folklore of the Bamboo Princess of Japan.

Porter’s reason about not releasing it overseas, is very interesting but underwhelming. It’s the same issue with the Kero Kero Bonito song. If you’re more connected with the song than the lyrics (that you may not understand) it’s fine, but is not what Porter may have intended. Nurture is more lyric-focused in order to try to tell a story: a story on how Porter tried in vain to create Worlds 2.0, that rotted out, and he decided to make a new Garden instead.
People out there listening this song think this is a “Worlds song”, which proves Porter’s issue with that song.
In other words: If you understand Japanese fully, Fullmoon Lullaby could be interpreted as a “Nurture song”. Otherwise could be misinterpreted as a “Worlds song” (The thing that Porter wants to leave behind).
This seems especially ironic (and confusing) given the rest that the rest of the album is in English. Are we sure Japan or other non-English speaking audiences aren't thinking of the rest of the album as "Worlds 2?"

Why does this one have to be exclusive to Japan :( This one is beautiful.
Long story short, Japanese fans found that it was cheaper to buy the NA version of the Worlds album sent in internationally than to buy the domestic version, so adding this as an incentive was probably to help convince the Japanese audience to buy it domestically
japan exclusive bonus track is a rather common thing, its related to how its more expensive to buy foreign album in japan I think, theres a video on youtube abt this

When I first found this song I didn’t like it but now after fully listing to it I think it has become my favorite song on the album
Waking up in my chair that I fell asleep in from studying and started playing this felt so different and beautiful. It seems that a life where I can live and finally quit playing this competition game without facing consequences seems so close yet so far. A life where I can live quietly, and enjoy what ever is provided by my past. Yet losing my dreams is so scary. My parents brought me to life in the United States from Laos and Thailand, yet those places seems so home and cultural when I've never even set foot on Asia, and I knew they brought me here for a reason. It inspires me to do the same, I want to move to Japan with a visa, marry and have children and raise them in an even more beautiful country that is so peaceful. Live in the Rural where they too can choose where to go without having all the stress that I had, yet make them the best people in the world. They shouldn't be suffering like me who rarely go outside and truly enjoy the nature where it's rarely available, going to school 6AM - 2:30PM, going to practices or clubs or community service to 5:00PM then doing some Jiu jitsu 7 - 9 on somedays, and spending the rest with studying for AP's, while trying to get enough rest, and time with the family... Sure I would want my kids to do a lot of effort as I do, but it shouldn't feel forced and be required to go to a better place when they already are. If they want to go to the very top, then for sure I'll make them work for it. It's honestly sad I'm writing this and being so specific about my future.

@@neutronicshathank you! I’m halfway there. I attend my college (mass maritime) orientation and will be doing training for 10 days. Just four more years until I become a Mariner sailing half the year and the half traveling around the world on vacation and buying a house in Japan. It’s so scary flying alone and moving to a state so far from the south. My suitcase contains my favorite artists, my family support, and my future. You got this as well. We’ll get there!

This is excellent, feels exciting and suprising. Makes me feel the same way Wind Tempos, do-re-mi and dullscythe made feel the first time I heard them. This shouldve been included on the album internationally, definetly one of the more interesting songs that used vocals outside of Mirror and Something Comforting. No offense to Porter though, he did a fantastic job on Nurture overall
