Appreciate your clarification! The DB ICE-1 (Class 401) was set to be replaced, but its been said it will be running until 2030. I’m just glad I got to ride onboard a couple of them.

As a European, I'd like to note that a lot of the new train sets aren't going to replacing existing train sets but to expanding service
