Premise: House of the Dragon is an American fantasy drama television series created by George R. R. Martin and Ryan Condal for HBO. A prequel to Game of Thrones (2011-2019), it is the second series in the A Song of Ice and Fire franchise. Based on Martin's 2018 novel Fire & Blood, the series is set about 100 years after the Seven Kingdoms are united by the Targaryen Conquest, nearly 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, and 172 years before the birth of Daenerys Targaryen. Featuring an ensemble cast, the show portrays the events leading up to the beginning of the decline of House Targaryen, a devastating war of succession known as the "Dance of the Dragons". The girl asking the dragon to assist her suicide is crazy unbelievable to me.
She was dying and she wanted to die a dragon rider...a true targaryen death..not in birth.
Which is ironic cause I think more targaryens died in birth

Thanks man for the recap, I wanted to know the story but couldn't watch all the episodes of season 1
some of us watch shows while we work or over time and need refreshers. I wanted a recap that went in order so I could stop after episode 8 and go watch the last 2 episodes. and you put the very last scene in the intro.... screw you dude.....
Very dull and boring. A complete waste of time and money acting as poor actors look awful. There’s no comedy. There’s no interesting characters and no reason for some of the things they do in the movie at least with the Game of Thrones each episode wanted me to watch the next one, but in house of the dragon, I couldn’t stand every episode.
