He is just a sensational playmaker. He deserves more game time. Koeman can either start him or bring him as a substitution.
This man is allergic to making back passes lol i love him for that, always looking forward and his vision always helps him see something, he is too intelligent to be wasted on the bench. people keep complaining about his physicality i guess they're not realizing how far ahead of the competition this guy's brain puts him, just like the barca middlefield greats. I feel a pain every time i see him on the bench knowing we're missing out on something special.

@@WorldView-ys5bz because he looks for safe play, if you watch any good progressive midfielder they move the ball forward taking risks. Xavi an Iniesta used to dribble through 1 or 2 def then pass the ball forward thus creating space.
I think he miss passed some passes because of lack of game time and nervousness.He didn't do such things in before days.
He is the best youngster and arguable the best mid fielder in the squad .. he can control the game tempo just like Xavi ans iniesta did back in the days..this lad deserves 90 mins

@@vulindlelamagagula7793 it's mostly because they didn't play with 2 cmf at the same time esp when Koeman use 4-2-3-1 formation a lot with 2 dmf and 1 amf. That's why he said both of them didn't fit on his squadline and play Busi, Dejong, Cou/Pedri on the midline. On the other hand Pjanic is an experience players who could play as dmf even though he is mainly cmf. Alena and Puiq are wasted in Barcelona they seriously need a new club where they can show their full potential

The problem is that he doesn’t defend and easily loses the ball. Barca is already weak in defense. If Puig loses the ball in attack 5 times in a match because he plays too wild Barca will get countered so many times. If Puig learns how to have a little more control in his play he will be a beast. Right now Alena and Pedri are way more complete as footballers. Puig sure can unleash some magic at times. He is however as a whole too much of a liability because he doesn’t defend and can easily lose the ball in attack. But when he does something well he does it with great magic.
@@lordbunbury i dont agree with you bro he does defend he is running everytime he has that energy to track back and recover the ball whenever team looses the ball.... only problem i see is he isnt strong might struggle against physical team...and he isnt the player who always choose to pass the ball back, sideways instead he tries to create whenever he sees opportunities he has that vision and creativity so its common for him to loose the ball even messi looses ball so many times because he chooses to make that risky pass and try to create opportunities

Koeman is doing same mistakes by not playing Riqui Puig for which Valverde & Setien got sacked. Frenkie most of the time passes sideways and has no vision, creativity, just knows how to turn better than Arthur, he runs few steps and then stops and seems have no idea what to do after. Puig should be playing more, he has creativity and vision. I hope Puig leaves Barca in January, Barca fc is stagnating his career.
Swap pjanic with de jong and you have a perfect setup. Puig can learn how to play lm like pedri. Pedri shouldn’t start every game imo, he’s class too tho. Then rw you have dembouz, messi as the 9 and griz/coutinho as cam. That’s the ideal team for me, with dest at rb ofcourse.
