My theory of Himawari’s latent power is that she inherited Otsotsuki abilities like Boruto did. So for example Boruto even before the Karma unlocked the Jougan which is a Otsotsuki dojutsu and he probably got it because Naruto is the reincarnation of Ashura and had Six Paths energy within. But another key factor I feel got Boruto his power is also from Hinata since she is the Byakugan Princess and her eyes were sought after to activate the Tenseigan and also Hinata eventually absorbed some of Hamura’s chakra who was known to possess the Tenseigan. So Naruto and Hinata both had Otsotsuki elements within them resulting in Boruto’s Jougan which could also directly apply to Himawari having some kind of Otsotsuki ability unlocked as well. I personally believe that she inherited maybe more of the Hamura side of Hinata in her DNA and that means she will probably unlock the Tenseigan and that latent potential to possess such a powerful ability is the presence Daemon felt within Himawari. This is a running theory I had for a while now so let me know what you think 😁
