All these years and albums later, and l.e. is still my favorite album. Don't get me wrong, i'll buy a soundtrack to a movie if it has 1 tori song, but this album was pure bliss when it came out. I knew from the first few notes of crucify I had found something amazing. 1991, summer before 10th grade, I've been hooked ever since. Tori, my thanks and love.
Tori's been through a lot; she's a very 'openly-personal' person lyrically, (if that makes any sense.) Her voice lets it all out always, no other way for a musician of her caliber. I've never seen here live, but I've always appreciated her work.
tori amos, not really my kinda music i listen to normally, but somehow, every once in a while i click on related stuff en i get a song of tori amos, en i keep on clickin' songs of her for the rest of the evening en they're all amazingly good, funny isn't it?
the 1st time i saw her was in 96 at jones beach..and i got to meet her,and hug her,and kiss her....picture too,which i had her sign st spac a few yrs later......love tori......
@DougglesMagnificent She's not a folk musician - she'd be classified as a singer/songwriter... but she's still a bit tricky to label (as are all the talented ones)
@thatSaori she is quite famous, one of the most famous folk type musicians ever. i think your anger is fabricated in order to rail against mainstream pop...dont sweat it

Tori is still nailing this song. I saw her live in 2014 and I could feel the reverberations of the Bose in my chest. Just amazing ...

This is one of my favorites by Tori. To me it is about my struggle with depression.
Her performances are always so emotional and powerful, I am just blown away.
God, this song gives me goosebumps.
This is the way TORI songs were meant to be heard -- just HER and a PIANO ~ it's magic....nothing drowning her out..aughhhh i miss these days ~ xoxo

to me , It's about being ignored and patronised whilst people go about not realising how they are hurting each other.
you can always come back to life...
I love this. From the bottom of my heart..
//here we go again..
A goddess on earth 🙌🏼
that is exactly WHY i am listening to this right now.
one of my favorite songs ever!!
@hindsight1122 well said in terms of poetry meeting music. This type of writer/performer is rare. Her struggles were not in vain.
Fave Tori song!
incredible
doesn't take much to rip us into pieces
I LOVE YOU TORI AMOS💜🖤💜🖤💜🖤💜
@scottmayabb i hear that!!we all live in depression some choose to admit some not.
To me it has always been about female sexuality, the good and bad of it. I think she is a genious!
One person has never felt pain, poor bastard...!
Give me myself again...
In my mind and heart Tori is a goddess and David Bowie is a god
Amen, at least the Tori part.
Matt Sorum, ex Guns N Roses used to drum in her old band. what a song
Jesus.. That was so intimate it made me bite my lip.
oooooooooh, these little oil spills.... ;-)
@kjulietraven
Once upon a time, scrunchies were hot, I wish I was kidding.
hope she doesn't mind me calling her "the original chick with a voice and a piano"
@scottmayabb Fucking amazing.

One person will burn lol this person is amazing, always and ever will be. Afuckingwomen.
@aggravatingtactics No, you're thinking of Me and a Gun.

3:56 she got a major V-quake her self.... hahaha....
Good Lord, that was so close, were you like on the stage or something? Thank you
to who? not tori. the "little earthquakes" referenced in this song are about those "little, constant agruments/fights" that couples get into. :)
or the little earthquakes that western institutions erupt within you.
Little Earthquakes in every realm of life for me.
Is anyone else here because they just felt a little earthquake?
Isn't this a song about her experiences to do with when she was raped?
this song is so beautiful....its about rape
Hmmm. Not to be prurient, but I always figured 'Little Earthquakes' was also a subtle orgasm reference.
