It might be difficult to introduce computer programming to your children, especially if you are unfamiliar with the complexities of code. Good mentors always help kids to resolve these complexities.

Coding activities like these are great for kids to learn and understand the coding fundamentals. It makes learning fun and also helps them to cement their knowledge.
Just did this coding actvity with my son who is 9 years old. Due to a suspension he lost the opportunity to be on the Robiotics team and that was very upsetting so looking at different ways for him to learn coding at home so in the future he can do it :)

I know that coding is important, but I don't think children need to learn it yet. Coding is something we can learn in just a few years - that's what college is for. And for developing critical thinking and creativity, that naturally happens through so many other things. Me and my friends never coded when we were little but we ended up just fine didn't we?
