I'm so overwhelmed because my initiating spirit explained everything he said through dreams and visions. Everything he says is facts.
I even have half of the cloaks already, abaNtu abaDala took me shopping two weeks ago.
    Bayede eMakhosini, Ndauwe, Camagwini.

Camagu. Does anyone know the name of the song that starts at 15:30, ngathi ngingagida when it's playing.
Also a very beautiful look into intwaso, simple and not delving too much into what may be regarded sacred.

I watched through this video and my impression is it is well done and explained. By that I mean it has demystified the process and the reason for Intwaso. What I did not hear is whether this is a Swati or Xhosa way of ukuthwasisa, although I've got an impression that it is really not a Xhosa way because I'm a Xhosa person. I heard from our history that the Zulu, Xhosa, Swati, Ndebele and other related tribes are all NGUNI, but I don't know how come we do our customs differently. I know it might be long story. But, I'm just expressing my opinion and curiosity. A great video, indeed. Thanks.

Thokoza. Thank you for supporting this channel and we are glad you enjoyed watching this episode.
With regard to your question, this particular initiation falls in line with the Thokoza lineage. The Thokoza lineage, as the video states, primarily initiates working/healing spirits such as umnguni and umndau. Moreover, this process of initiation is not limited to any particular ethnic group, however it is a dominant method yokuthwasa in areas such as Mpumalanga and Swaziland. Furthermore, over and above this initiation process, it is also possible for a person to be expected to initiate idlozi lasekhaya i.e Amakhosi (Zulu, Swati, Ndebele) or Intsimbi emhlophe (Xhosa). Of course, the latter will differ from person to person and will largely be based on one's ethnic group :)
Again, thank you for your support. Please don't forget to like and subscribe so that you are notified about our upcoming videos.

@@MkhuluManzolwandle Thanks. It's always good to ask because some people just do things without any questions asked and at the end of the day they suffer the consequences. Another question I always held in my mind and nobody seemed to answer it in detail is the question of the white people who have got their own European ancestors coming to our own culture for their intwaso. I have a white friend who did his intwaso under the Xhosa tradition and he took 10 years finishing his initiation. What kind of ancestors do they have...Jan Van Riebeek, Pik Botha, Koornhoff, Jan Smarts, Cecil John Rhodes etc. or what??? Is this right or wrong?
