Once when I was 11 or 12, I was at the ballfield with my best friend and her brother. I was old enough to understand what déja vu was and how it felt. So I got that "hmm this seems familiar" feeling, but it wouldn't go away! You know, normally, déja vu lasts just long enough for you to recognize that you're experiencing it, then it's over. But my déja vu just kept on going. It wasn't as if I could tell what was going to happen next or anything like that. I just had that "familiar sensation" for probably 30 minutes, although I honestly don't remember how long it lasted. It was definitely long enough to scare me, and I kept saying to my friend "It isn't going away! This is creepy! What should I do?!" That happened a long time ago but I'll never forget it.

I’m freaking out because I had the exact same experience happen to me, that happened to the person in the story at 14:30. I looked through the blinds in my room, and saw an old man under the street lamp looking at me. I backed away and when I looked through them again, he was right in front of the window pointing in at a charm bracelet on my desk. It had been missing for a long time, and was given to me by my uncle. It was unfortunately something he had stolen during a time that he was obviously in a lot of trouble. When I woke up, the bracelet was on the desk like it had always been there. I actually tried to find the family that owned it to give it back, but never found them. We had many strange things happen in that house, especially during that time. Even people that didn’t believe in this stuff refused to come in.

Curious, anyone know this story? heard this years ago just forgot its name.
It goes along sending people into a forest, the first with a lantern or something, then a flash light, night vision, and finally thermal camera, I forget how its goes but each sees or experiences something else.

The lantern the boatmen and the laughing children? It’s a Reddit story from 6 years ago if I’m right. If I’m wrong then no idea. Either way the story I’m talking about is supposedly true and it’s amazing I highly recommend

I listened to this to go to sleep last night, made it 45 seconds in. Woke up and it was 2.5 hrs later. 😂😂
2:48:08 sounds like my friends house. They don't live there anymore but it was definitely haunted it was also a hospital at one point as well as a place where slaves were hung from the tree that was out front (it was cut down by the previous owner) and crazy stuff would happen a lot I didn't like going there much. He had me spend the night when he was house sitting because he couldn't be there alone. I spent the night twice for that reason and the first time nothing happened maybe cuz I was saying out loud to leave me be and kept the light on in the room I was staying in. But the second time we heard footsteps and a scream outside when we were bringing the dogs in. Blood curling woman screams from the woods. After that I didn't go back for a while but went back new years one time for a party and since they had family we had to sleep in the RV outside. The toilet in there only worked for guys since they don't gotta use toilet paper when they go pee so I had to go inside to use the bathroom but only did once because again it's haunted and while inside the house isn't too bad he would tell me about how outside had worse spirits to the point one time workers who were working on the house when my friends family bought it they had to go to the warehouse and left one guy behind to watch the stuff and by the time they got back it was dark and that guy said he never wanted to be left alone in the dark there again. In regards to the party when I slept in the RV with my friend we were fine and nothing happened until I had to go to the bathroom and he said he did too and he would go with me. As we walk to the backdoor I saw a shadow figure in the widow of the garage by the RV but I didn't say anything and looked away because he told me if you acknowledge them they tend to act out more. So we go to the bathroom and come out and the figure was gone. Whole time I'm freaking out inside wanting to get in the RV and just forget about it. We were planning on going to sleep soon anyway. At this point it's about 3:40am (I know dumb going out at witching hour but I wasn't thinking about that at the time. We were watching anime and I wanted to finish the show before going to the bathroom since it only had a few episodes left and didn't realize it was 3am until we got in the house and I thought about how stupid that was). Luckily we get into the RV and everything seems fine. I was dealing with my own paranormal stuff at my house and my brother wasn't sleeping so he asked about that. I told him about the stuff that's been happening (footsteps my mom heard, the tall man who my brother, me, my friend in this story, and my brothers friend have all been seeing, my brother being touched in the middle of the night, his lights turning on and off on their own. To name a few things that happened over the course of a year or so) and I brought up the figure I saw heading in the house. He asked why I didn't tell him about it and I told him I wasn't saying shit till we got back in the RV especially since we had to walk by the garage to get back and I was hoping I just saw wrong. He told me loads of people have seen them in the windows of the buildings they have (they are rich but he would say otherwise, but he has the main house, a mother in law building, a pool house, and the garage) so I probably did see it. I told him I didn't want to keep talking about it and we switched to another topic I think it was the anime we were watching so no longer scary horror movie sounding talk and we were laughing and joking around when we hear a bang. Sounding like someone just slammed their hand on the hood of a car. We both go silent then we hear another bang sounding like it came from the side of the RV behind me. Then it just continued everywhere in random directions sometimes stomping on the roof of the rv. At this point I'm having a panic attack crying and freaking out. My friend gets up and tries to look outside like an idiot and I scream out him to sit the fuck down and not look and he's trying to calm me down saying he just wants to see what it was and I told him that if he doesn't sit down I'll throw him out the RV and let that thing get him. At this point I'm on the bed crying and pulling the covers over my head. He telling me he won't look anymore and to calm down and it can't get inside because at this point we both know whatever it is isnt a person because it's moving too fast unless it's multiple people and while his family might mess with us like that they wouldn't go for this long without saying it's them plus they were all drunk when we first went to the RV and when we went the bathroom they were all asleep. I just start praying at this point just wanting the noise to stop and he asks why I have the covers over me because if it gets in its not gonna stop it and I just said if I'm going to die I don't want to see it. It keeps going for a while but when the sun comes up it finally stopped and we are both just freaked out and he asks if I want to go in the house but I said no I will just stay here I don't feel comfortable leaving the RV after that. Eventually we both pass out from exhaustion. When we wake up we ask his family if they messed with us and they said no and we told them what happened and they said sorry to me knowing how freaked out I was. I said it was fine and I was ok. After that tho I never spent the night there again. I still went over even at night here and there but never alone and I never stayed too late. It was the scariest paranormal experience I've ever had but it sounds made up when I tell people. But I swear to God it's true and that happened. I have had a lot of experiences with the paranormal and some of which more than likely wasn't paranormal like the screaming from the woods, it could have been a animal or a actual woman screaming. Same with the footsteps it could have been the house. I dog sat a house that had that exact noise from how it was made and when the wind blew I certain way it sounded exactly like footsteps but when I talked to the owners they explained it and it made me feel better. But that... like I said there was no way it was human because of where the hits and stomps came from and the time between and until that point there was no noises close to that while we were in there. I have no logical reason to how that happened. Even the stuff at my parents house some of it could be explained but other stuff not so much. Most of this paranormal stuff started happening to me after college and it increased when my brothers bf messed with tarrot cards in the house (after my mom and I both said no and not to use them because we don't want to deal with paranormal shit anyway) and that could have been why but I don't know. I just don't want to deal with it. Luckily I moved out and where I'm at nothing happened, the house just sounds creepy at night but that's the house itself. My parents still live there as well as my brothers and they sometimes experience stuff but not as much as before. I just hope I don't deal with anymore stuff because it freaks me out a lot.
The sandwich story was so cool. The one after where the person woke from a dream spewing otherworldly knowledge and not sleeping for two days sounds like a manic episode typical of bipolar disorder.

Sometimes the scariest stories also take place while you're taking an afternoon nap totally knocked out because you are sick and your stepdad comes in your room and... I'll leave it at that. It's scary though.

When i was a kid i saw someone in my room, i ran to my mom and told her. She instantly assumed that i had a bad dream and took me to bed, she left the room and closed my door. The guy was standing behind my open door when she left the room. He exited my room and i heard her screaming. Turns out it was a serial rapist who entered our house through my bedroom window before i woke up, he raped my mom and nearly beat her to death before leaving through the back door, she barely survived. So parents, when your kid says there is a stranger in the house.... USE YOUR BRAIN AND ASSUME THERE IS ACTUALLY A STRANGER IN THE FU*KING HOUSE!!!!! IT JUST MAY SAVE YOUR LIFE!!!

Basements are freaky. When i was in high school i always came home listening to my headphones. We had a finished basement apartment thing, where my grandpa was staying. So i came home, headphones in, i took them out in the hallway by the basement door. I heard distinct voices coming from the basement, they didnt sound like my grandpa and his car wasnt in the driveway. So i called out for him to see if he was there. The voices stopped and no one replied, so i called my dog and went into the basement. There was no one in the basement. I convinced myself somehow that id heard it because i had just taken my headphones out so it was left over from the music, but it definitely was voices
