Finally caught up! Started binge watching your vods (that is, post twitch-switch) a few days ago. I'm just not a streams person. 😉
Strange with the frame dropping. [haven't watched the whole video yet, so if you solved it after 25:00, Ignore this] Since the video encoding for the stream & recording are (or should be) done in hardware, which means that CPU load should be very low,, definitely single-digit %. In a previous video you mentioned it was 30-something %, iirc. That does indeed sound very high, something else on your pc must be doing something... Virus scanning, windows update. Not really a "windows guy" so I'm not sure what windows like to do in its "free time:... 😉
Update @ 29:15 Bitrate is pretty much irrelevant, since the encoding is in hw. Unless there's a *huge* bottleneck in writing the recording to disk (extremely unlikely).
Update @ 37:40 So likely caused by capture card? Sounds reasonable. But is there a driver for it, that can be updated, or some such?
