Looked an impressive place Graham. The gondola up the mountain looked great. Pity about all the smoke, but at least you had some views. Impressive waterfalls aswell. Great stuff. Cheers. Eddie.

Loved it Graham. Went there for our belated honeymoon over 15 years ago.
Always intended to go back and I’m sure we will. What a fantastic place. Looks like you had a great time.
    Fantastic memories :-)

I'm not enjoying the Jet Lag Alan but yeah had a great time. Covid has had an effect though. It was packed and you are no-longer allowed to get to Lake Maraine by car. We had to book a private coach for 160$ each as the Shuttles were all booked and the car parks at Lake Louise were fall by 6am. Very commercial now and very busy, according to my mate who has lived there for around 40 years now. Thanks as always Alan mate

It looks a lovely place to visit Graham, if a little over commercialised.

Yeah really is a shame, but like the Lakes it seems to be the way the world is going. Thank goodness for memories

Hi Graeme, this one brought back lots of memories for us from our 2017 trip. We did Sulphur mountain and Bow River as well and got clear views. I put our video link here

I didn't see it as a cheat using the Gondola - Banff is already at 4-5k above sea level anyway, and the Gondola experience is outstanding. Banff is a lovely town too, full of character, and great places to eat. I hope you got to a few more places and have more videos to come.
Thanks for bring back the memories, regards, Ashley
