I truly love your creative process. Designing the pages as you go along and yes…..I’ve found that some pages I plan do not always end up looking the same…..my pages talk to me……and I listen……the end results surprises me often……..🤗🤗🤗
What a gorgeous layout Vicky! I love how you distressed the patterned papers and layered them. I also like the technique of transferring the images to plain paper in addition to adding them directly to the page. Vicky I just love watching you create these pages. I have never done an art journal page but I am thinking I may do an art journal book - creating a page for each month of the year. Living in Canada I could do a page thinking of the 4 seasons and the crazy weather we have throughout the year.

Thank you for another awesome video and being absolutely reassuring about not overthinking and enjoy the creative process instead. What a beautiful layout. I was so inspired that I completed my two art journal pages combining your ideas and mine. Along the way, I made several hopelessly hilarious mistakes and had a good laugh at myself as I recalled what you'd said about enjoying the creative process. I'd like to share my work but I'm not sure where I can do that. Thanks for showing how to overcome our creative blocks.

Thanks for using the vellum, as it isn't easy to figure out places to use it. I have a Tim Holtz pad of vellum with eggs, nest, birds, etc.I hadn't realized when I got it, that vellum isn't the easiest thing to use, as it is difficult to adhere and not see the tape or glue through the vellum. Great project as always, thanks again for all your hard work and sharing. 😊
Try staples or brads. They look great especially on mixed media
