To be bit more realistic, when you cut a grass field/pasture, you should at the end cut the perimeter anti-clockwise and you would probably get an extra bale. That's usually as it is done in Belgium, at least when my Dad had farm a few decades ago :-)
Cracking stuff this Scroft as always. Can’t wait to watch the rest! 2 months in and still no patches for animals, not even any comms on it. Shocking really. I understand that games need patches at the beginning to get fixes sorted, but on the release of a new game they’re usually prioritised and done quickly. Giants really seem to have been super slow off the mark here which is a real shame… they haven’t even done some decent communication to players who have spent full price on a game that has so many issues at release. Just hoping they aren’t spreading themselves too thin with the development of this new sim racing title.
I don't have any problems with animals, whatever these problems are they don't affect everyone so harder to pinpoint. But I don't think Giants have been slow off the mark they have been on a brake, and they are intituled to one like everyone ells.

Interesting They haven’t been on a break for 2 months and to be honest, a lot of things that aren’t working properly yet, should have been picked and tested before release! The game came out in November and there are still lots of issues. I want to love this game, they’re just making it very hard with this iteration.
The section of the bale shed with a roller shutter door on it is actually a spray shed which is used to store the sprayer as if it leaks it would go into a tank underneath the building and also the shed would be insulated to prevent frost damaging the sprayer in cold weather , but can’t wait to see this series unfold Scroft looking forward to it keep up the good work
I do understand your point on the hail, in irl if the graincrops are almost ripe it can do a lot off damage to ur yield but it has to be rather ripe. So i would say it should only do damage in the ready to harvest state
@Scroft, I put in a report on the manure silo and silo extensions disconnecting from the cow sheds and pigsty's many weeks ago, and just before Christmas, I got a status update that the problem has been resolved. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next update. Cheers!
Oh my gosh, Scroft, this warms my heart. The perfect map gets a real role play. NATHAN you are a legend, there is no way I could do what you did Scrofty. FS25 has a lot of quirks for sure. When placing dynamic pastures. Plant a grass field first and have it well established. Then place the dynamic pasture but DO NOT have it plant a meadow (leave the one you have) The livestock will consume the meadow grass; however, to have it regrow, just deliver a load of grass to the pasture feed bin and the meadow grass will grow instantly.

The problems which you talked about on 25, and there are a lot are true, the base game maps are not really the best, and all know that, that is why I’ve gone back to 22 till things get sorted and the modders take control again. Plus Giants robbed us console players of slot count. Definitely not the best what they have done, base game stuff which we had previously is now used to fill our not so much storage space on console. The way I see it is we are now in FS-0.3 because this is the 3rd manger update to the engine its acutely a massive update ground deformation dynamic in game and driver assist/GPS, sun beams soft shadows virtual NPCs, NPC driver awareness new crops new animals 2 new very good maps the list goes on but it's too much it talk about here this is coming from someone that was sceptical and wouldn't normally buy a game on preorder has it was at the time, but it was £18 for me so yep, its wroth 3 times that. I have no real complaints, so I'm impressed.
About the autoloading: I really don't like to do the "proper" loading, it's just not fun for me. Maybe the rule I use for myself could work for you, too: I must bring a suitable loading tool to the location where I load pallets, bales or logs. Then I use autoload or super strength to do the work. I think that's a viable compromise between "The trailer gets loaded by pure magic." and "I sit there for an hour or two doing something I don't enjoy at all."
Awesome what you have done, i like it. besides that, for me it is the same as with the farmhand, when you change the map withing GEdit i loose interest into it. But it looks awesome. i always want to play alongside the content creator and, for now, this is not posible.
I guess you don't get too much major hail over in the UK but wheat farmers over here can lose whole fields due to hail damage. It can beat the plant down to the ground. Even smaller hail can have a significant impact. You should watch some of the Welker Farms videos when they get hail just to see what damage it can do.
I watched a video yesterday on how to get rid of the draw distance circle, he upped the draw distance to the max(200%) in game menu then edited the game.xml and changed the draw distance()from 2.0000 to 5.0000, it did not change in the menu from 200% but it completely got rid of the circle cutting, might be worth a try.

Regarding the fields that's missing boundaries and preventing the use of GPS, is it perhaps possible to use Courseplay and do a custom field and then use GPS on that? I haven't bought FS25 yet (lack of new gameplay kinda destroyed my eagerness) so I can't try it myself, but it would be a neater alternative to plow and sow a field.
Scroft you can make manure but it only works wgmhen you place the manure silo extension not the manure silo. Trust me iv dine so much testing and iv over 2000 cows now and own bio mass. Obviously need manure for bio. Place a manure silo extension and tell me it doesn't work 😂 i wnt them to fix the grass roller.
one thing they have to fix is the crashing of FS25 on xbox you can't use the shop at all its completely unplayable and as a first time player to FS its not good of a look. I enjoy it but can't fully play relax and actually enjoy it if I'm having to reopen the game every time I want to purchase something from the shop/vehicle workshop, its been like this since the last update 1.4 release..
From what little they have communicated, Giants have more than 1400 mods, so I don't think this map will be very soon, since they are missing the tests and with the amount of mods that there are, it will take a long time and when they publish they only upload 4 or 6 mods and the game itself right now has many flaws in the wood and the terrain, which is a pity.
The main trouble with the FS 25 is when you trying to play the game you keep running into little things like that and it is easy to get that annoyed that you stopped playing the game. We need a massive update for FS 25. One that puts things right and not covers things up.
Theres so much to be repaired productions too slow seed ect usage to low crop yield too low animals broken they had 3 years to get it made and made right looks to me they did sod all untill march 24 then rushed it out from there
To be honest, the hail aspect of the game isn't strong enough or at less the us map. I live in the hail capital of the USA. some years we'll have a hailstorm. Come along and mow everything flat to the ground. Every type of crop, every single piece of grass.
Pretty sad we need community made content to make the game enjoyable. Let alone the 2 month wait for Giants to let us beta test their game for them while they "fix" things.
Fs25 clouds are a downgrade when compared to fs22, they look so fake over the blue horizon especially when the weather is clean, the rainy weather is not so bad in FS25 if anything its superior to fs22. I wish Giants would pay a bit more attention to detail for their game in many places and less focus on # of machines, there is no point focusing on quantity when most things are pretty much the same reskins with reused sounds and functionality and work half way littered with bugs. Regardless I understand that it's not easy task however everything is possible if managed properly.

Not sure if it's common with hail specifically or just heavy rain, but damage from that sort of thing is definitely a thing over there as well.
The wash bay I think is intended to be the sprayer shed/ chemical store

That flicker on swaths is LOD being loaded/reloaded, probably was done to improve fps but yeah looks horrible.
Is the big field at the arable farm going to be a grass field like in the video or is it going to be an arable field?
It should be arable I'd say, cause scroft changed it to grass.
