Reid has got to be the best instructor out there, I’m slowly saving up to take one of his classes. I’d love you just sit down with him and listen to some of his stories, I’m sure he’s got some great ones.
swampk9 That’s exactly what I was thinking, John is amazing as well. It’s a dream of mine to take anything from Reid though. Working EMS isn’t a money maker though, so it’ll take me a while to save up for one of his classes. 😂
Outstanding shooting. A trip to Valor Ridge is on my bucket list of musts. Also, totally enjoy your history lessons. I wish I had teachers like you when I was in school. Very inspiring. Keep up the good work
Great training video. My shooting has elevated greatly since I got a shot timer and started using the valor ridge shooring standard. I will see you on your ridge next year.
I think I could do it. I'm gonna give it a try this weekend. I'll have to have a friend use a stop watch because I don't have a timer like that. But I'm gonna give it a try.
Nice Job. Back years ago we had to Qualify sorta/kinda like you was doing here. The best I remember we went out to 30-35 yds max with our handguns, I believe it was. Then with our rifles we went to 100 yds. Shotguns we went to 25 yds. We didn't have the electronic timers back then just someone with a Stop Watch.
great job Reid. I have been a firearms instructor for 19 year in NJ as a LEO. There is no requalification for firearms instructors under AG guidelines. Such a joke. We run our own courses just to try and stay ahead of the trainees. Your the best, I hope to make it to Valor Ridge in the next couple years after I retire.
Pretty tough stuff ! Any opinions on new AK gear or anything you found useful that’s came out recently Thank for all you have done and continue to do for this great nation
The attitude needs to be, "I cannot do that yet, but I will once I begin to practice each skill one stage at a time." First, make the hits. Then, make the time. You can do it, keep steady with dry practice. Reid
Can that be considered low ready? I'm not hating, I'm asking. I thought that low ready is when you put the gun close to your chest and point it down to the ground.
Can you go into detail on your one handed reloads? How you preform them? I cant get it remotely close to thattime I've tried all night lol. I'm really close on everything else appreciate the drill its my new opener.
After Don & I are done with all of your rifle courses. We plan on starting over with your pistol courses..You may even get tired of seeing us every year...
Reid Henrichs great videos, what do you recommend as a carry gun and caliber? I'm a huge Glock fan, had two Glock 17's, love 9mm, but recently sold them and got into S&W M&P 45acp, I love how the 45 hits, it's fun to shoot, but the capacity is seriously lacking compared to 9mm. I know shot placement is everything, give me your opinion if you have a second. Rock on brother!
HR I don't know where in the US you are from. But the men in my family have all ways carryed. Since the civil war. Now most carried smaller firearms. They ones that were military or Leo tray end carryed mostly full sized 6 guns.
josh benware Strange. my g19, g17 and mp9 uses the same 135gr ammo and it's the same point of aim/impact up to 15 yds. I loose track of the bullet at 25yd, just trying to see where to aim as an initial setup
The same as for anything below 25 yards. Ballistic drop is a non-issue at that range for 9mm. Ballistic drop at 50 yards is about 2 inches and about 12 inches at 100 yards.
Reid Henrichs - At the 1:45 mark, Reid, you said that you would start from the "low ready", or 45 degree muzzle down towards the bad guys feet, then raise the weapon for two shots. Yet, you started with your weapon on target, so WTF???!!!! Must be a Marine thing, LOL!!!
You have your priorities reversed! Skill is way more important than gear. Stop buying race gear and save for a class in shooting fundamentals. By the way, most people complaining about recoil do not grip the gun correctly. A muzzle brake or compensator on a handgun will not make you a better shooter for self defense! It just empties your pocket. Realize that a brake or compensator will help you with exactly 1 round out of 3 in a Mozambique drill (2:51 in the video below). It is also the least important round and the improvement can be measured in milliseconds. Reid has posted numerous videos with shooting drills. Work on those in the meantime. Focus on accuracy over speed. Speed comes over time. ruclips.net/video/r11F9ZDzBaE/видео.html
If you fail the test, do you counsel yourself? Hehe 😝 BTW, good shooting. I'm not sure how much more "real" the video can get. It was done all in one take, walked us down to the target, etc. Good stuff.
Wow, that’s a really difficult test. I’d be happy if I could shoot like that with a time limit on it. I started using a red dot Because it’s easier with these old eyes.
Write books and articles, take care of my farm and animals, play guitar, spend time with Patriot Nurse, hang out with friends, read scripture, workout, and make videos for people who need information about history and firearms.
It made me smile to see that you read Scripture. Jesus said, you are His disciple if you continue in the His Word and you will know the truth and the truth shall set you free.
Knock knock...Im an agent with the U.N. weapons disarmament program....Reid?? Is that you? Ah shit!......Damn this F'ing job, sorry I bothered you bro....take care..
Let us never fight amongst ourselves about what firearms we like, but fight for them, together.

Korya Iine best post ever
👍🏻
Nice work Reid
Reid has got to be the best instructor out there, I’m slowly saving up to take one of his classes. I’d love you just sit down with him and listen to some of his stories, I’m sure he’s got some great ones.
Will McLawhorn my goal by next year is to either take Reid's class or John Lovell's. Best scenario is to take both of course
swampk9 That’s exactly what I was thinking, John is amazing as well. It’s a dream of mine to take anything from Reid though. Working EMS isn’t a money maker though, so it’ll take me a while to save up for one of his classes. 😂
Will McLawhorn you and me both. I have to pinch pennies to make it happen but that's just the way it is
Outstanding shooting. A trip to Valor Ridge is on my bucket list of musts. Also, totally enjoy your history lessons. I wish I had teachers like you when I was in school. Very inspiring. Keep up the good work
The soothing sound of your intelligence. Full of knowledge.
Holy moly, love your history lessons and now some speed and accuracy shots. 50 yard with handgun is something
I'm glad you made it!
...otherwise you would have had to fire yourself.😥
Time to go do these, I've practiced your other standards for the better part of two years. Can't wait to try these out, thanks Reid!
I tried this last week. You make it look easy. Well it wasn’t. Lol. I came close a couple of times though. Great course I will keep working on it
Nice touch to bring the camera with you to inspect the target. Well done, sir.
Great training video. My shooting has elevated greatly since I got a shot timer and started using the valor ridge shooring standard. I will see you on your ridge next year.
That was an excellent performance. Thanks for that Reid now I have something new to practice.
Nice shooting - especially cold.
Impressive shooting. this guy walks the walk.
I think I could do it. I'm gonna give it a try this weekend. I'll have to have a friend use a stop watch because I don't have a timer like that. But I'm gonna give it a try.
Very nice
Kicking back & watching a pro at work. Inspiring. Ty
I love the name of your company "Valor Ridge". That's just awesome!
This drill looks awesome.
Nicely done Sir.

We like it we love it we want more of it. More videos like this please sir.
Awesome as always brother
That was straight up gangster. Good work
Awesome drill...definitely need to get out to VR and train with you!
That was impressive
Considering u can get a slightly faster draw from appendix caary is there a handicap for strong side? Or is the speed difference miniscule?
Excellent shooting Sir! Amazing stuff.
Practice that one hand manipulation! I broke my left arm and sure wish I had practiced it a lot more!
Pretty tough stuff ! Any opinions on new AK gear or anything you found useful that’s came out recently
Thank for all you have done and continue to do for this great nation
Thanks for another great video!!
What drills would you suggest for new shooters at a private range?
El Bluro - Accuracy first, then work on timing.
Daryl Weston thanks, I meant more specifically. Like, idk, 5 shots total, start from low ready, raise gun each shot. Something like that.
Wow...I couldn't do it. Outstanding!
The attitude needs to be, "I cannot do that yet, but I will once I begin to practice each skill one stage at a time." First, make the hits. Then, make the time. You can do it, keep steady with dry practice. Reid
awesome I will give it a go
Excellent test. I’ll practice that. Thanx
hey Reid well done !!! Smper Fi brother
I want Reid, the pistol and the ammunition tested for performance enhancing drugs! That was some First Class, Door-Kicking, Bad-Assery.
No joke. Great shooting.
Reid you smoke that shooting test.
First rate! Need to do some shoot no shoot drills, to many in law enforcement live under the shoot first and make up your story afterwards.
Mr. Henrichs, would you decrease par time on the longer range shots if the handgun was equipped with a red dot?
Very solid shooting.
Why do you have strings all over your pants...?
Can that be considered low ready? I'm not hating, I'm asking. I thought that low ready is when you put the gun close to your chest and point it down to the ground.
I think that is SUL. Low ready is pointing just in front of where the targets feet would be. Full grip and arm extended.
Holy crap... beast mode!!!
Can you go into detail on your one handed reloads? How you preform them? I cant get it remotely close to thattime I've tried all night lol. I'm really close on everything else appreciate the drill its my new opener.

where do you place the front site at 25 yards? Should it be below the target or covering the target?
josh benware stock mp9 full size, 135gr hp 990 fps
josh benware Strange. my g19, g17 and mp9 uses the same 135gr ammo and it's the same point of aim/impact up to 15 yds. I loose track of the bullet at 25yd, just trying to see where to aim as an initial setup

Does this test involve throwing a students firearm and having a ND? I have heard some training company’s thats ok. 😬
Reid said he shot 29 bullets on the paper target. There was only 27 shots on target? Were some of the bullets going thru the exact same hole??
Thank you
Thank you for the video
Great video as usual. Just curious what brand of concealment belt you’re using in this video?
I wish I could shoot 1/100th that well with my handguns..NYPD commissioner would have shot a 4% on that course though..GREAT VIDEO...GOD BLESS Keith
Just tried this course of fire and holy shit it's challenging
Is there a rifle version?
What's up with security
Good info!
interesting & challenging course of fire!
But you call your position "low ready"? Shouldn't that be an approx. 45 degree angle downwards ;-)
Damn, wish I had the ammo to practice this!
Do you aim with both eyes open?
Where can I get the targets you are using?
Do people really accuse Reid of switching out targets? Jealousy because they can't do it I guess lol
Reid that was great, really like the " Practice what you preach".
How about running a scar 17s really hard?
What are the stringy things hanging off you are those for the microphone or something?
joey , I'm not sure what they are called but I believe they are to do with his faith
And both ranges I currently have access to don't allow any of this.🤬
What is your thoughts on muzzle brakes/ compensators on CCW
Why have a muzzle brake or compensator on a handgun for concealed carry?
Charlie Foxtrot help with recoil management and faster on target after shot
Does Reid have a muzzle brake or compensator on his handgun? No! Attend one of Reid's classes to learn about shooting fundamentals.
Charlie Foxtrot I don't have enough money for that right now, that is why I was trying to get information the way I could
You have your priorities reversed! Skill is way more important than gear. Stop buying race gear and save for a class in shooting fundamentals. By the way, most people complaining about recoil do not grip the gun correctly.

Well done sir! Thank you for you're time, services & great free education to the general public. #ReidHenrichs All American for Americans :)
If you fail the test, do you counsel yourself? Hehe 😝
BTW, good shooting. I'm not sure how much more "real" the video can get. It was done all in one take, walked us down to the target, etc. Good stuff.

What do you beside shooting
Write books and articles, take care of my farm and animals, play guitar, spend time with Patriot Nurse, hang out with friends, read scripture, workout, and make videos for people who need information about history and firearms.
It made me smile to see that you read Scripture. Jesus said, you are His disciple if you continue in the His Word and you will know the truth and the truth shall set you free.
Reid Henrichs and he does it all well! And I really appreciate the fact that you bring God into the picture.
Solid!
How much y’all pay?
If I lived closer I would throw a resume in as an instructor.
Reid, I don't think that you need to walk over to the camera to show everyone the timer results. Especially not after every shot.
Sweet Reid. Wish you were my neighbor.
Hell of a good way to build skills. That manly belly doesn't hurt either. Jk, love your message and methods bud. Keep it up.
Impressive
Looks easy, give me a year or two.
I feel sorry for anybody that gets into a gunfight against Reid.
Awesome
I always knew you could shoot.
Mazel Tov!!!
Yea, I'm good
BREAKING NEWS: This guy can shoot!!
Are those tzitzits? Are you Jewish or Messianic? Like the videos and the explanation of the constitution and 2nd amendment. Thanks!
This would have been great to practice before I got rushed by hogs last night.
Thanks tho I have somthing to shoot for
The down votes are because he didn't one hand rack it off his belt. Gasp! He used the SLIDE LOCK.
This is appropriately named. Good grief.
You've got some amazing skills but two to the head..come on, let the guy fall in peace :D
Love me some Reid, no homo
😵
Knock knock...Im an agent with the U.N. weapons disarmament program....Reid?? Is that you? Ah shit!......Damn this F'ing job, sorry I bothered you bro....take care..
REID..sorry
