The Pils razor was always called the Hammer of Thor:) Herbaceous aquatic, that's a good way to describe that soap. As to chatter, I don't care about it either way so long as the shave is smooth:)
Hi mate thanks for addressing the swearing subject, I have to say it's so nice of you to be consideret about others, I personally don't use bad language but I used to all the time, what helped me to change was when I saw this scripture in the Bible , Ephesians 4:29. It helps me to see God gave as the ability to speak and using bad language really is a misuse of this gift and it also doesn't sound or look good. But unless you are convinced of this your self you won't be able to quit not swearing just to please others won't really work. Hope this helps my friend I know it's a challenge trust me I saw so much before
Thanks for the great review. A couple of weeks ago I requested if you could provide a review of this soap base. You kindly granted that. As always, enjoying your shaving videos!
Great shave! Looks like I may need to add this one to my collection as well, I can’t find any fault at all with HSSC products, they just flat out perform!
I have to say paradigm shaves really nice Jack I’m very Happy Thanks to Chief🙏🏻Corey as we traded I’m impressed with Paradigm DB👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Great review and your right handle is heavy but Shave is amazing tho very smooth.. Alan H
I really had trouble loading this soap to make a sense lather. It's smells great and the posts shave feel was pretty good but it was really difficult for me to make a sense lather with this soap. I will try again.
Still learning how to dial in soap lather, but I’m getting there. It’s probably just in my mind, however it seems the longer I build the lather, the better the shave.
Nice shave Jack, another soap to think about when I next go shopping. 😌 I don’t think I would like that much heat either, and we know which way the temperature is going. 🙄
Gm Jack, hope you are well and safe. The titanium Karve is available on the 1st of the month. Any any idea of what time it'll drop on the karbeshaving web site??
Shave&Butcher I like to think about it like this. Imagine you’re using a straight, you press that blade harder than you should against your skin. Dense lather has resistance, so in theory it’s protecting based on that push back it gives - almost like sinking into a Tempur-pedic mattress. Honestly, once you’re shaving for any extended length of time, density isn’t that important as you’re so used to tuning in that blade angle.
Jack, mate, it seems to be a very common thing with we Britts. We eff and blind all of the time and it is not intended to be offensive most of the time. But, if you grew up in hyper-polite land, or in a place where political correctness rules, it can be a little shocking, I can imaging. The new logo is bloody brilliant!
Great shave! It’s a beautiful razor but the price tag is a bit high, although probably worth it considering the price of high end razors now. I personally don’t mind the “F” bombs it gets to the point fast.
hi john here you want really well made de razor watch video from friendship shaving on the zoria of the dawn de razor made in poland waiting on mine to arrive
I don't think tallow is a super fat. I believe it's fully saponified. Generally, the nourishing ingredients are used as superfat (the butters for example) and are left unsaponified. Cutting noise and chatter are two different things to my mind. The Karve for example is the quietest razor I have ever had, and the smoothness is felt! Cheaper razors like pearl, GSC etc are very loud and I can definitely feel that chatter on my skin! So uncomfortable!!
I'd take my SS Karve E plate over that razor any day of the week. Chatter it has with no skipping. Positive feedback, nothing holds the blade as solidly as my Karve. As far as some states opening up? What the FUCK are they thinking?? Covid-iots! Jack, being where you are be ready to lock down again for the second time when disaster strikes!!
FYI, the blade does not come into contact with hair follicles. Hair follicles are located well beneath the surface of your skin. The razor is coming into contact with your hair. Period.

Me too, I do prefer tight blade control. As long as it's comfortable, that's all I care about.

Thank you for the kind feedback.

The soap is great, but I prefer the scent on Eclipse personally.
The Virtual Groomroom that’s such a killer scent isn’t it? And strong, holy mother it’s strong lol.

Nice shave Jack!
I really had trouble loading this soap to make a sense lather. It's smells great and the posts shave feel was pretty good but it was really difficult for me to make a sense lather with this soap. I will try again.
I just wanted to say that I appreciate the swearing as a refreshing change of pace. Great work Jack!
I'm glad that my potty mouth brings you a refreshing change of place.
You're right about the glue. Why do they use it anyway?
Still learning how to dial in soap lather, but I’m getting there. It’s probably just in my mind, however it seems the longer I build the lather, the better the shave.
I don't lather for a long time because I think it's necessary, I do it because I really enjoy it.
Nice shave Jack, another soap to think about when I next go shopping. 😌
I don’t think I would like that much heat either, and we know which way the temperature is going. 🙄
If you need any recommendations, just let me know!
The Virtual Groomroom thank you Jack 😌
That's a beautiful razor. Don't think I can afford it but dam is it nice looking.
You know I'm a fan of HSSC. It'll definitely always be in my den.
I really like HSSC, but this scent didn't blow me away. My favourite scent of theirs is Havana Vieja.
@@TheVirtualGroomroom Havana Vieja is definitely an amazing scent

Now, how does the diamondback when compare the karve? Saver, smoother?
Hi Jack. How is a dense lather protective? I have asked other people but I don’t understand. Thanks.
Shave&Butcher I like to think about it like this. Imagine you’re using a straight, you press that blade harder than you should against your skin. Thanks Jack. Interesting. If there is resistance for the blade to reach the skin, then will the blade cut the hair properly?
@@Shave_n_Butcher I would say so because it's not so much resistance to where the blade can't touch the skin.

Thanks, Lee, it's a load of bollocks mate. I'll say what I like, if people don't like it, they can find someone who doesn't right?
Sounds like a great razor, but not in my price bracket,
It is a great razor but you don't need to spend that much to get a great razor.
That's exquisite blade chatter (;
Exquisite indeed. hahaha
Great shave! It’s a beautiful razor but the price tag is a bit high, although probably worth it considering the price of high end razors now. I personally don’t mind the “F” bombs it gets to the point fast.
It's great, shaves pretty darn well.
hi john here you want really well made de razor watch video from friendship shaving on the zoria of the dawn de razor made in poland waiting on mine to arrive
I dont own any caties bubbles I'll have to add this to the list
Very, very good. Extremely easy to work with.
“Get me out of here!” haha.
I can't remember what I said here, but I'm happy you found it funny haha
Ooooh yeah those glue traces are just horrible 😱😱 but Nacet is a great blade overall... i rank it with the Astra and Feather weight class
ibrahim makkouk It is a great blade, the glue dots are annoying though

That shave was really expensive!
Not necessarily. I can outdo this so easily XD
FYI, the blade does not come into contact with hair follicles. Hair follicles are located well beneath the surface of your skin. The razor is coming into contact with your hair. Period.
Okay, fine, it comes in contact with hair. Period.
Too much chatter about chatter lol That's a rather low structure lather for tallow soap.
It is, very low structure and dense.
Who lathers for 10 minutes?
