Hey guys this is an oldie. This is a throw back from very early on with my old camera. However this is one of my favorites that I have ever filmed. I have so much new content coming. I have just been so busy. Hope you enjoy
IT IS NICE TO GET MORE INFO ON PLACES YOU GO WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS WENT THERE OR BEEN THERE AWESOME VIDEO AND HISTORY ON THE SCHOOL, BRING MOM TO MORE ADVENTURES!!
This is priceless...!! I loved all of your mom's stories and getting to see where she went to school as a little girl . I bet she never thought she'd be walking back through this school with her son years later . I love it...!! Thank you Jon and your mom for sharing this with us !! This one is my favorite !! ❤❤❤
Wow, I went back and visited my Elementary school, it was build in 1906, The school yard had the largest trees I have ever seen. Since then the place has been turned into an office building and they kept the trees. I was very glad it was taken care of. Too bad your mom's school wasn't. It is cool she came with you and gave you her stories. Blessings
What a special treat for your Mom! I'd luv to go back and visit my elementary school. And you get to hear old stories from your Mom. Such a great video. I really enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing :)
i like these kind of abandoned exploring videos more then the regular ones for sure. its way more fun to have n watch someone tell u when they were in the building while ur exploring. u shld think about doing some more videos kind of like this if possible ecspecially since no other youtuber really does anything like it. thanks for sharing ur moms experiences with us, i enjoyed it, please tell her thank u too
You know what? I would still pray. I don't care what officials or the principle would do. My parents always teached me to stand up for my religion and faith and family. Great video as always.
This was so fun! All those memories. Reminds me of my elementary school except it is still being used. It looks so small now but seemed so big when I went there. Thank so much for this enjoyable trip. You have a very pretty mom.
Excuse me sir. I have just recently discovered this channel and I will honestly admit that some of the videos you post give me absolutely chills. The one you did In that old 3 story plantation with the lovely lady friend of yours I happen to watch that during the night time a few hours before bed and I was glued to the TV w the volume high just to hear and see what you've both experienced and at some points in the video I actually got chills down my spine. Not many vids do that to me which gives me the notion that is completely real. I don't doubt it but if not it's damn good n scary regardless but I believe it.... Good luck on your travels and adventures and may you be watched over by a positive force. Take care and thanks for sharing these experiences with us. Max. From New Mexico.
hi Jon great video your mom is awesome I love her accent she must have some wonderful memories from that place it's so nice you did it together all the best from Josh.
I really enjoyed this Jon. I enjoy having my mom in my videos as well, and if we ever get back to where she went to school we'll do a video on her school as well.
Your mom reminds me of some of my aunts and older cousins . They were all from Lebanon Junction and Nelson County . Same way of dressing and the accent tickle me .Boy they had some stories too.
Videos of abandoned schools, particularly elementary schools, always make me extra sad. Within the last couple of days something reminded me of the old two or three storied brick elementary school I attended in a town of a little less than a thousand people, back in the 1940s-early '50s. I went to Google Maps and searched for it, and wasn't surprised to NOT find it, as it was probably built in the 19-teens or '20s, but 70-odd years later I still remember the rooms where I spent kindergarten through seventh grade---plus most of the teachers' names! (Lost a _sock_ four days ago, hunted all over for it---and found it on the seat of the chair where I sit every morning to put on my socks and shoes. Boy, I wish I had a _current_ memory!)
New sub here found your channel from the G team and Omar been watching your vids for the last few days and like your raw style of filming peace from Australia
I love this! I love your Mom❣️ What an amazing adventure. Thank you so much for sharing this one. I do miss your “terlet” bit-it was always funny. Thank you and God bless ~
I love all your videos Jon.. Your amazing and so funny. Very scary small abandoned school.. Wow. But yeah that is crazy.. Much love and light to you all.. Crazy place for sure
Man alive that brings back memory's. I was in 1st and 2nd grade in that very school, before they closed it down. At the time of it closing they no longer had Kindergarden there, only 1st-6th grades. Had Mrs. Belenovich as my teacher, got a good story about the Principal laughing at me for mispronouncing that once LOL. 3rd-4th were taught by Mr. Monroe, and 5th and 6th taught by Raymond Fields, who was also the Principal. One Janitor by the name of Lot, which was a shortened version of her full name, and a couple of lunch ladies that I can't recall the name of. Most of what your Mom said held true all the way up to '92 excepting we didn't have an actual ball team at that point that I can recall. Boy that Merry go round she mentioned was a heck of a death trap tho lol. Still surprised us kids didn't kill ourselves on it. Thanks for the walk down Memory Lane, and tell you Momma that I'm sure some of the Kings say hello.
Wow, your mom is not only funny but she is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! How old are you Jon because she could pass for your sister.???💃 What a cool thing to do, take a tour with your mom at her grade school! What FUN!! Very special video!!💞

Jon I attended a school almost identical to that one in the 70s,we had no gym either just abig very thick slab of concrete/blacktop what ever you want to call it, it was called Boston elementary school, they never Left it though they replaced it with a new school now my great nieces and nephews attend school there today.
My Best Friend(God Rest Her Soul)was from Harlan, they were Mountain folk!I don't know if it was her Mother's or Her Father's People I think her Mom's and I can't remember her maiden name anyway she was Proud to be from there!!
