Love this! Thanks for sharing an in depth look at your rational and sorting process. I use my chipboard the same way as you, so this was very helpful for seeing how I might make a new storage system work for me!
There are so many things I love about the way you organized this. Especially that you can see what is overflowing and use those up to make room for others. Really a great plan. Thank you for this super informative vid!
You could consider writing a list of those long phrases so u know what u have to use up. I don’t have a lot of chipboard but I do love seeing you open the drawer full of choices.
I love this! I want to play in your chipboard drawer! Lol I don’t have enough chipboard to do this but as I keep getting kits I will consider your method for sure.
I enjoyed learning from your thought process as you worked through all of them. I have mine stored upright the same way and will try this! I have a lot of AE kits, but did get frustrated with the varied chipboard changes and became impatient and frustrated with the ones that did not push out and ruined some. I destashed them… forgot all about the exacto knife. 😳 I love the categories and I think this will help you use them more. 🤩 They really do accumulate quickly. I paused my subscription for a while to work through. TFS!
Thanks! I also was so frustrated with the ones that didn’t punch out, thankfully Ali changed those as soon as she realized that’s how they were. The exacto knife was a pain, especially on the ampersands sooo happy to have that behind me! Hopefully you can work through your stash soon too!!
I keep mine in the backing for now (until they get low then I punch them out) but you have a good point that the newer kits just fall out of the backing. Thanks for sharing your new storage solution!
Thank you for sharing your organization system and categories! I still have most of my chipboard in the backers and haven't broken them out because sorting strictly by shape and color doesn't work for me either. I loved seeing your categories and how you grouped themes together. I think a similar system would work really well for me! Thanks for the inspiration!
Love your organization videos. Now I’m motivated to do the same!! I like the idea of theme based categories - I scrapbook the same way. Thanks for Sharing!
Okay, so this has always been overwhelming for me when others separate their chipboard. Your process seems easiest! I currently store upright, and have a love hate relationship with my chipboard.
Looks like you have more than enough AE chipboard for a long while. Hard to use chipboard can be covered with scrap paper. I'm sure your new organization will help you use it, thanks for sharing.
I am hopeful I will use some of it up too! I like having a stash to have options and I create a lot, but at some point it becomes too much. As long as it is contained to this one drawer that is manageable for me. ❤️
I didn’t save the list but let me see if I can type them out for you quickly! I have one for each color and season. Then quotes, and, stars, hearts, photos/cameras, outdoors, me, lists, growth, am/pm, remember/past, clean/organize/errands, crafts/write/work, gratitude, laugh/fun/play, tough/bad day, relax/care/home, family, friends, stuff, party/going out/celebrate, school/read, listen/watch. Then my larger categories are: foods/drinks, love/relationships/us, travel/transportation, encouragement/change/inspire/OLW, and other. Hopefully this helps!
May I ask where you got the larger white containers that sit on top of the plastic ones? I love this whole video, and while I feel overwhelmed watching it, I also feel encouraged! Thank you! 😊
Thanks! Those are just empty boxes that mini notebooks came in and I’m repurposing them. Don’t feel overwhelmed!! Organization is a lot, just start small. Good luck! ❤️
I love all of your tips. Thank you for taking the time to share this. One question…how did you store your New Years, Easter chipboard from the story by the month kits? Did you put them with the seasons or make a separate category for those? Thanks!!
Thank you! I store those with the seasons. I figure if I want something related to a holiday it’s easy enough to just look through the correct seasonal section and it prevents me from needing a section for each major holiday (and I include birthday related stuff with the fall because that’s when my birthday is).
It’s definitely important to purge at times! I didn’t mention in the video but as I went through it all I ended up trashing a few pieces that I knew I’d never use. ❤️
Thankyou so much for this vídeo. I just was looking for help to organize muy embelishment and with you i did It. Greetings from Spain.
Thank you! I hope you were able to organize your embellishments with my tips. I have more videos coming soon with other organizational tips. 🙂

Thank you!! I hope this helps you with your chipboard organization. ❤️
Enjoyed your video and the way you explained your thought process. Thank you!
Thank you!!
Very nice. Great ideas. Thanks for sharing. Shirley
Thank you!! ❤️

Thank you!! Happy you enjoyed. 🙂

Yes that would be a good way to reference them! I kind of love just shuffling through them, but admit that could get out of hand quickly. 😂
I love this! I want to play in your chipboard drawer! Lol I don’t have enough chipboard to do this but as I keep getting kits I will consider your method for sure.
Thank you! It’s such a good idea to set up a system for yourself before your supplies pile up. ❤️
Awesome video Miss Linda!
Thank you Erika!

Looks great! Great ideas! I may take some to mix in with my shapevsorting.
Awesome! Thanks ❤️
While I don’t organize by sentiment, I love seeing how you put this together!
Thank you! ❤️
Loved this!
Thank you! ❤️

Thank you! I think if the backers hadn’t changed I wouldn’t have been pushed to take the leap, but so far I’m loving the change. ❤️

You're welcome! Good luck if you decide to break yours apart too.

Thanks!! Good luck with your organization. ❤️

Thanks! I really liked the upright storage, but honestly this new way has gotten me to use up my stash way more.
I wish I had that space to craft in
I didn’t used to! Find a system that works for your space. 🙂

You gave a lot of good organization tips that can be used for other things too.
I would love your printed list of categories. (Wink)

Looks like this will be a great system for you :)
Thank you!! I hope so. 🤞

I always say fi i have it for longer than i need and not using it it time to get rig of it and when i say that its been a long time LOL.
