"The Song of the Bow" for haegeum and gayageum (composed by Lee Jeong-myeon)
It is a piece that aims to showcase the unique qualities of the haegeum, with its varied rhythms and melodies. In the composer's own words, he wanted to tell the story of the haegeum itself, rather than just using it as a vehicle to tell a musical story. The piece was originally composed for an concerto, but became even more popular after it was arranged for haegeum and gayageum duet, highlighting the strengths of both instruments.
