Having witnessed several students wire up the bus and driver, only to forget the driver needed to eat as well, I can only say that this is the best explanation I've heard yet! Thank you so much!
I've been following your videos/tutorials for sometime now. I am very grateful for benifitting your videos. Your explainations are very clear and simple. Keep up the good work Sir!. Thank you so much.
It's a wonderful explanation on the biasing circuit of A SMPS with very keen pointing of the operation of driver , thanks Sir for Your great explanations

Assalam alaikum sir. Just wanna thank you for all the knowledge you've shared on your channel. I discovered your channel 3days ago, I've been binge watching all your videos and I have really learnt alot. Thank you so much. May Allah reward you abundantly.
salam, Mr.haseeb I watched several videos about the SMPS i found them beneficial. I want to ask about two recurrent matters in SMPS. 1. when the power supply starts with a buzzing sound (i think from coils) and after 5 to 10 seconds it turns off suddenly. 2.if all the multi voltage power supply is working normally but one voltage is missing (6v), when I applied 6v to the output dc capacitor ,it drew high current and I got a voltage drop. It would be great if you could benefit me , especially if you encountered such problem. Regards
New subscriber here. Sir I have an SMPS here with no output that I have been trying to repair for a week now. I replaced the components that i found faulty. I can now read DC voltages (around 290 to 300 VDC) at the input of the transformer but unfortunately it appears that the xformer does not magnetize. it shows zero volt at the secondary side and as well as at the aux winding. Kindly tell me of the possible points that i missed to check. thanks in advance
My Vcc at the the pin 13 of the IC ML4800 is 5V while it should be 14V. Also the voltage between FET D-S is only 308V instead of 420V. Voltage over the power caps are also less than it should be 312V instead of 386V. I ve replaced the IC, the power caps, the switching mosfet. Still the same problem. Can you please help?
Hi. Very pleasant and descriptive. I have a question. Could we have the same IC start without soft start ? Directly from a winding via a rectifier directly to pin 7 ? Did it ever happened to you ? Thank you
Hi. Is there something else that can be used instead of an incandescent lamp in the series circuit to test power supply? I can't find bulbs except led ones in my country. Thanks
hi sir can i replace a transformer with secondary coil of smps like the example with a simple transformer ? or will i have problem because i cannot control the current of output

Very good explained. The rectifying diode of the auxiliary circuit should be schottky type? Thanks
best regards
yes output rectifier must be schottky, Fast rectifier, MBR type
with low forward drop voltage
عالی و بسیار متشکرم در پناه الله موفق باشید
خوش آمدید و تشکر ویژه

How does it control a specific maximum current or voltage?
Sir, VCC capacitor is fluctuating. I have changed the 50v 47uF capacitor. Still fluctuating .. where to check please..
Please chech secondary side short circuit components
Something is interrupting the feedback
Sir one more question.
How to check driver ic is working or not with normal multimeter.
please check video number 522

datasheetspdf.com/datasheet/40N60A4D.html
in this datasheet it is showing datasheet
40n60A4 is without body diode
40n60A4D is with diode
@@HaseebElectronics no sir not that type hgtg40n60a4d sorry for not adding the laters
40N60A4D is generic number
prefix letters are never marked on the components
check in the datasheet in
ordering information section
the marking on body and real part number are mentioned in that section

Oh found your video ( video number 386) about calculation of startup resistor. Thanks again
please check video number 386
yes we can limit the current and adjust the voltage
but it need very precised calculations
for banch power supply it is better to use a separate voltage and current regulator in output
i will try my best to share a compact design for bench power supply
wow that is great. i also sent the same video number for you
I mean like adjusting Voltage in smps like you did with a potentiometer, can we adjust current with potentiometer? Or by adding a transistor? (or Darlington transistor in the output)

it depends on the user how he uses any circuit
if it is used in primary side or secondary side it will remain the same
if auxiliary winding is used with primary side or secondary side, it will remain output winding
