Missouri will have a better Defense than 12 other teams in the SEC. Only Georgia and Alabama will be better. If their offense can score 30 plus a game I could possibly see 10 wins.
@@wtk6069 If Kentucky has the #2 defense in the SEC they should have a top 10 nationally. If they are that good they should win 10 at least. I see 8-4 season for the cats.
If the offense can't take the next step and do their part for what should be a stellar defense, it's gonna look an awful lot like 2015 when Corey Fatoney had a strong case for team MVP and if we had had even just a mediocre offense, probably could've won 9-10 games.
10 wins might be a bit optimistic, but as a Mizzou fan, I do kind of have a 2013 feeling about this team. It will probably be hard to repeat 2013, however, because the SEC East was very much down at that time. Why do I have this feeling? The answer is simple: returning production. Yes, you could argue that the returning production isn't very good, especially on offense. But it wasn't very good in 2013 either. The 2012 Mizzou team was worse than the 2022 Mizzou team, but a lot of those players returned in 2013 with another year of experience. In all the discussion about Brady Cook, people ignore the fact that he was dramatically improved in the second half of the season. The numbers weren't eye-popping, but he cut down on the mistakes. He also played most of the season with a torn labrum in his throwing shoulder. If he can simply play solid football, avoiding mistakes and using his legs, he can play complementary football to a defense that has amazing potential. My Mizzou-fan heart would love to see 10-2. I think 8-4 is probably more reasonable for the optimistic take just because the SEC is very tough right now.
Dude they nearly went 9-3 with a bad offense last year. He's right. Mizzou had addressed their weakness on offense this off season. If those changes are real, with that really good defense, they can win 9/10 games next year
This is aging well so far. This week is what really decides it.
MIZ
Aging incredibly well even with the UGA loss
This was one of the best takes on RUclips this year. Well done sir
Excellent take. This could end up being prediction of the year!

Kentucky returns most of the key pieces of a defense that finished in the top 15. They, not Bama, will be the 2nd best defense after Georgia.

If the defense is as good as last year, i say 12-0
If Tennessee and Georgia is rusty out of the gate, mizzou (could possibly) win the east.
Is that you Cousin Shane???
A bold prediction? HELL YEAH THAT IS A A BOLD PREDICTION! 7 wins tops!
Aging like 2 month old milk
