Eels are their own demise. About three of the Storm tries came straight from the Eels errors. They've been like that for last couple of months and have cost them dearly.
Entertaining Game of Rugby League, I thought, The Parramatta Eels never stopped trying and were pretty competitive given where they are on the Competition Table but Parramatta did have the Home Ground advantage against a side that had to travel up from Melbourne in the middle of one of coldest winters so it must have been a psychological challenge for the Melbourne Storm to lift itself for this game given that they were 6 Points clear of the Second Team on the Competition Ladder going into this Football Game. But lift they did, in spite of Parramatta having most possession of The Football. The Storm probably didn’t play up to their usual standard but always looking for an opportunity to counter-attack and their Defence was relentless for the Full 80 Minutes. In a word “ Livewire “ for the whole duration of the game, no-one has a rest at any stage of the game, they are just relentless. Very impressed with the Melbourne Storm Full-Back for the entire game, not just the highlights. Very safe under the High Football, of which he received many, a true Custodian, a term used for the Legendary Rugby League Full-Backs of another era in the 20th Century.
Not clinical throughout the 80mins but Storm sure knows how to win each game this season. So different to past 5 seasons with high scores and tight defence against bottom 8. Sorry Eels, without your dynamo 7, your backline attack was left begging.
Parra got no offence thru the middle, no defence on the wings. No determination to win or care for their fans this season, from a top 4 side to a wooden spoon battle.
I've actually lost count of just how many forward pass tries the Melbourne Storm have been gifted this season. What are the bunker/sideline officials watching?
class,the prescence of papanhauzen on that 2nd/3rd pass after the line break is devestating,not a side will stop that,theres where the Storm win the flag imo,that n nullifying clearys field positioning kicks
its 20 to 8 and have a look at the line on the ground to the angle of the pass . the ref and linesman /woman / bunker shouldnt miss that . Didnt we all get sick of the cameron smith passes close to the line . ref the game not the team
@@lunch2102 was blatantly out of hands forward. was a flat style pass ie little to no going back out of hands on that motion of passing. it's annoying bunker cant rule on forward passes.

It appears that the Melbourne referee bias has really kicked in with finals just around the corner. Forward passes , iffy sin bin, no one square at marker. Are we meant to take this seriously.
