Chuwi Hi13 review: ruclips.net/video/LWzdujsmbxo/видео.html This is the new Apollo Lake model.
Thanks for the reviews. I'm looking to buy either the chuwi hi12 or the cube iwork10 for taking notes in class. Which would you recommend? A working active stylus with palm rejection is important and I don't really care about anything else since I'm only going to use it in class for the most part. I've been leaning towards the hi12 but I'm a bit concerned with some of the issues people have been having.
+Kirushan2601 Same question here. Chuwi HI 12 (very risky but cheaper, 12 inch 2K screen), Cube Iwork 10, Cube Iwork 11 (wacom support) or Cube Iwork 12 ? I would use it for ilustrations and dessign.
Found a tablet that you like?
Just to clarify, you need the Dual Boot version because it's a new one that adds the hardware needed for using the stylus, but the stylus WORKS under Windows as you can see on the video as he is using Windows the whole time.
You kept the screen protector while writing, did you? I have a protector on my Chuwi..,considering buying the stylus but don't feel like taking it out. And did you test it onAndroid apps such as Skid or Inkredible?
This is amazing,as always thanks for the review! Does the stylus work on all hi12 models? Ah I see it requires the dual boot version.
Thanks. Can you please confirm if the pen does work with the Windows 10 only version? If not... is there any advantage of the dual boot version? Seems like the Android OS just takes up space.
Thanks for your informative reviews. Really helps a bunch in deciding!
I love my Hi10 and I might have bought the Hi12 for the stylus ability alone - I'd like to paint with the tablet But if I have to get the dual boot version IT'S NOT WORTH IT. I couldn't abide having half my storage space taken up by an OS I'll never use. Chuwi should get a clue. I'm sure there are other PC only tablets out there that do support this type of stylus. Even by inexpensive companies like Chuwi.
+Divergent Droid you can just extend your windows partition deleting Android, no problem.
Diego Marzorati You can? I thought Android was on it's own 16 gig or 32 gig memory module. I have the 64 gig Hi10 which only came with the one windoze os but other dual boot tablets I've owned didn't use one whole 64 gig module and partitioned them for each OS. If that Hi12 doesn't have one solid module but two, i'd have to format them for raid so the system will see it as one whole drive.. I'm not sure I like that. Can you confirm the android OS is only on a partition of one solid 64 gig drive module and not on it's own?
Just a partition, Chinese will always take the cheaper option.
Diego Marzorati Great to know - Thanks!
+Divergent Droid not only that, but Chuwi released their installers so you can reflash the system if you screw it up
Hi Chris, i love your reviews man you rock :D Can you do a test on this tablet for Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop and after effects? Also a video rendering in Premiere as i want to buy this tablet and use it professionally for video and photo editing thanks
if ur video editing this thing is definitely not for you I'll tell you that.
+ConvicTech None of these Atom-based tablets are going to be a good experience for that kind of work, not to mention that for video you're probably going to want more RAM. Go with an i3/i5/i7 based tablet for that -- Surface (NOT the Windows RT based one) or one of the similar ones. One that you won't be able to get for this cheap.
thanks Chris for another amazing review, I'm waiting for mine. one question, is it possible to turn on the pen cursor on the screen ?
Hi Chris, thatnks for your really good reviews. What Windows (or dual boot) tablet would you recommend that has at least Full HD screen, minimum 4GB Ram, great for taking notes and comes in around £150?
Finally! Seems just fine. Do you have to press hard in order to write, compared to the Surface Pro 4 maybe?
I was wondering if the "Original Electromagnetic WACOM Pen For Cube I7 Stylus" would work with this tablet?
same here
Nice review! Thank you for that!
Is it true that this stylus does not work on the windows only version?
I see many have asked this question, please do answer this on the video description.
+alexnir It doesn't work on the Windows version. Different touch and pen hardware.
Autodesk's Sketchbook is a nice drawing app that responds to pressure levels. Gives a good indication of modulation.
Is it compatable with the HiBook?
Hi,
I need to underline and take notes in PDF docs. Up until now I'm using the Samsung Note mobile and the accuracy is incredible. Do you think these chinese tablets are as good in small details as the Samsung Note?
Asking because I bought an expensive chinese mobile a couple of years ago with stylus support and it had nothing to do with a Samsung Note. I could barely see what you were writing with large letters , so with small ones it was unusable.
And if this stylus is just as good? Are all the tablets that you've reviewed the same in that sense: Cube Works11, cube i7, Chuwi Hi12? Would you recommend one over the others?
Many thanks..
does it compatible with chuwi hi10?
I cannot find the Hipen H1 anywhere to be bought. Do you know if its production has been discontinued? If not, can you indicate a reliable store to shop for it?
Hi. Can anybody advise on whether this stylus works on the hi12windows-only version or not? Thank
Would the pen's performance be any better without the protective shield on your tab?
Ummm excuse me... Can anybody answer me.. Uhm.. Is there any cursor when we hovering the pen over the tablet's screen? Just like Samsung's??? Please answer me guys...
work on chuwi hi10? (not pro)
I saw a tempered glass for the CHUWI HI 12 . Will you be able to do a performance review with the stylus on the tempered glass.
Will Microsoft surface pens work with this? ( I have a pen for Surface 4)
Hi there
Can this stylus be used in ipad mini 2 ?
Please reply as I need your feedback. Thanks
Faris Kahar same here. Can this stylus work on ios?
The description says doesnt work with the windows version? What does that mean?
Is the HiPen working on the other devices like ipad or iphone?
Hi there,
I have Teclast X2 Pro stylus, the same as for the Teclast X3 Pro. Does it work with the Chuwi Hi12, as the original HiPen? It looks like exactly the same device.
not pressure sensitive...=fail? Can you change the wideness of it with the buttons?
Does the tablet in the description has pressure sensitivity?
Hello everyone,
So, I bought iWork 10 and it came yesterday. It really is great and everything works.
I also bought hipen H1 stylus for it. It works, but when I put tip on
the screen and hold it still it starts to move on its own around center.
Can anyone help me with this because I do not know if I should return the stylus or try some options for it.
I already tried calibration and it did not do anything. If you need, I will give you more details.
Thanks a lot guys. Hope you can help me with this.
does having screen protector on it reduce the pen sensitivity?
Thanks for the review,u help me a lot. But i watched another video of some other guy reviewing this same stuff and his tablet have a lot of delay when drawing... what could it be ? I want same tabled as yours .. can u help me plz ?
Which app did you order
Hmmm. The cheap price is enticing. How long do you this will work until you start having issues?
I had mine for 8 months, it held up just fine no issues.
TechTablets.com that is good news then! Looks like China is really upping their quality game. Hey, I got a follow up question, if u dont mind. Does the Hi10 have stylus support and pressure sensitivity as well?
actually they don't spend a single penny on marketing and research thatz why its so cheap. Quality will be moderate and even better than some other branded products in same range.
does it work with chuwi hi10 pro?
Is the hi12 cpu only 1.1ghz? Does it boost above 2 Ghz?

My hipen H7 won’t connect to my chuwi 10
Feel free to send me the stylus if you're not gonna use it ;) I just spent all my cash on the Hi12, here's hoping I get a good one.
My hi12 doesn't recognize the hipen h1, I don't know why? Anyone having the same problem?
why the heck every one test pen pressure/sensitivity in oneNote ! it dosen't give you a proper result even with intious pro and cintiq. test your pen in photoshop people !!!

+AndreW GaminG true?¿?¿?¿ :O

+Mario Carbone Tried it doesn't.
Thanks
Good stylus.
It is hard to decide with one i have to buy...
i Want a windows 10 tablet with jkeybord, like a VAIO Z CANVAS or SURFACER PRO 4 or ASSUS TRASNFORMER 3 but dont have that much money...
So i m looking for CINESE OPTIONS.
I m researching to make a LIST of the best ones and than buy the one i think is the better for the price.
Can anyone help?=D
a part for One Note (which I appreciate) and other crappy app, all Win 10 ecosystem is not tought in order to be used with a stylus.
are you kdding me?, LOL you just made me laugh.
+André Fortin is win10 a mobile touch oriented Os?
yes. you can is windows ten as tablet mode and use yoour fingers.... or you can use your stylus on full desktop mode (where it allows you to hit the correct button 100% of the time) your fingers are too big when you are dealing with high pp screens. Adobe CC , Corel, Krita, Gimp, Medibang , sketchbook pro, auto desk , blender, 3d max the list of production quality SOFTWARE (not dumb down apps) aviable on windows 10 is HUGE. remember windows 10 you see here is full desktop version and windows has the biggest software ecosystem you could ever find on any OS. (and im a linux fan)
I agree, I really don't like it but many people use it and find it good at university
Ok i got dual boot version and i have issues. biggest issue is auto shutdowns happen below 40% of battery!! in Android and Windows.
Next is tablet got too hot, boot manager not accept touch but must choose between OSs using volume buttons!, backlight bleeding is exist and noticeable in booting. i received a 2.5A charger instead of 3A charger..
Not good to have all such issues but i didn't see you mentioned you have the shutdowns issue at any video!
+Mohamed Fouad where do you buy it?
+Diego Marzorati from gearbest. However i saw multiple people complain of shutdowns at Chuwi forums.
I like the tablet very much, but decided to wait another version with same screen but better specs.
Only screen is good in this tablet however sometimes miss some touches but not so bad. However lot of issues especially shutdowns and hot which are major ones.
+Mohamed Fouad Yes i DO have shutdown issues. Never happened until today, plugged in a HDD and it just powered right off.!
I hav a Vi10 Plus Chuwi with an Android preinstalled OS... and an HiPen H2. And it does not work with the tablet. Chuwi sent me the tablet (and the stylus) without any users manual concerning the configuratin needed to configure the stylus.... Therefore, is there anybody who can provide me some step by step information to configure the tablet? Tnanks.......
Great video! Later
Chuwi hi8 end up being a waste of $$$ , time and nerves. The battery is half way charging in only two months. I'm done with china" s low quality products. I thought it was windows eating up the battery and switch to android......same problem. batt doesn't even charge over 68%
shit )
does it work with Chiwi Hibook?
+ALEX20hoc No, only the Cube iwork10 Ultimate.
Really? Does it work in Windows on Cube iwork10 Ultimate or only in android?
